Whin Hill Norfolk Cider. My aunty's been buying me bottles of it whenever she goes to Wells-next-the-Sea since I was about 16.

Good gear on a day like today and does a job.

£20 a pint…

(I didn’t try it)

Even as a beer lover that is utterly ridiculous.

Got to say the price of pints is actually seeing me start to reduce my intake. If you weigh it up it's obscene.

Depressing isn't it. You're doing well if you get change from a fiver.

Tbf the Rake's been doing that for years.

I'll be honest to say I love pubs but these last six weeks, I have keeping away from them, it's doing wonders for saving money and the diet

Depends where you shop doesn't it, I drink cask 95% of the time so my wallet isn't hurt too badly - Leeds isn't too bad on that front. Keg stuff is astronomical though but I've never been a mad fan.

Bumped into @Stadt of all people the other week in TTL on my way home and they had Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout on for £3! I think it's a Sunday thing but that is an insane price for that drink.

Nine bar do £3 pints of Becks and Inch’s everyday 17:00-19:00. An antidote to wank beer prices recently

Aye probably same reason Spanish San Miguel is 5.5% and ours is 5%. English and higher abv doesn’t go well. That being said the difference in drunken carnage between 7 and 8% must be marginal at best!!!
