Worst post ever. Given a) his ball across created our goal and b) he didn't lose the ball for their first, he was sold short by iheanacho...

He ran into a brick wall and lost the ball for their counter. His various misplaced passes also put us under pressure. His decision making was poor on Saturday, crumbled under pressure.

Usually he's by far a million miles ahead of anything we've ever seen in a city shirt. But Sunday was woeful.

He has been great recently, but he was awful on Saturday. Do you disagree?

He may have been poor on Saturday, the rest of the team were. They didn't put in any effort, just as well the game was on Sunday!

Not at all no he was no better or no worse that Vardy / Iborra  on Saturday all had decent games but didnt do enough. To say it looked like he had been paid off is just shocking and the reason why fans dont deserve a play of his ability.

He ran into a wall because he was given very little option, iheanacho sold him short and left him receiving the ball immediately 1 v 3 rather than with space to work.

that wasn't quite true - he could have turned back or chosen to play square to albrighton. had he wriggled through the gap we would have all been salivating ......  surprised that seeing him doing this, some others failed to hold their runs in case he was dispossessed

he had a good second half.

I never had you down as a Mahrez apologist.

Mahrez had plenty of time before the three players got to him and he should have passed the ball quickly. Mahrez may not have been responsible for the goal but it certainly wasn't Iheanacho and Mahrez was repsonsible for holding onto the ball and then trying to run through defenders and losing the ball.

And here lies the dilemma of football opinion. Kelrpechi’s pass was atrocious, it was easier to put it into Riyad’s path, not five yards behind.

Mahrez and Chilwell role wouldn’t have come into play without the original pass.

The ball was slightly behind Mahrez and yes the ball should have been in front of Mahrez to receive it... Mahrez had time to control the ball regain his balance and still had plenty of space and time... so much time in fact Iborra made a deep run towards the back post which would have been 2vs 2 in the Chelsea box, Mahrez didn’t cross it much to Iborras disgust... the pass was poor from Nacho but Mahrez still had plenty of time and space to do something than whatever he did.

Sorry for being picky his first goal was actually at Forest in a 2-2

Alright, that makes the goal against Blackpool his first from open play. Forest away that season was a penalty, correct?

Technically open play. Phillips missed the pen and Riyad scored the rebound :P
