I must say, it would be a little unfair if John Smith (name not accurate) who has been to 0 games this season gets a free season ticket but A N Other who has a season ticket has to pay next season.

I understand members and other fans find it difficult to get a season ticket nowadays but I am also sure a lot of those people wouldn't bother if we were relegated. Most (and not all, myself included) have seen the "dark days" and had season tickets for years.

How have we got this far without a comment about why do we always have to celebrate the chairmans birthday?

Whatever its down to it's bloody odd that someone in his position needs such a show for his birthday.

Don't worry I'm sure Rudders will be working overtime!

pathetic how people are complaining about how ST holders have a chance of getting a free ST even if he gave all the members and ST holders a season ticket for free some people will still complain.

And nobody is moaning as I said I’m happy to be a member as it suits my situation. Just voicing my opinion that to give a season ticket to a season ticket holder makes no sence as they already have one that’s all. Ain’t that point of this chat room to voice opinions? ?

No one has a season ticket for 2018/19 yet...

You're missing the point. They've decided to reward 60 season ticket holders by paying for their tickets next season.

Looking through the posts, it appears to be he’s damned if he does or does not give tickets away to the supporters.

All I can say is what a fantastic gesture and he deserves a round of applause ?

Whether I get a ticket or not I still say Happy Birthday Mr Chairman.

To be fair this isn't the club 'celebrating' it, it's a giveaway/gesture. Last year was awful. Would have nice if it impacted someone who doesn't already have a privilege mind...e.g STH's, a giveaway to a school or charity would have been good.

You'll enjoy this year's fireworks then based on what the club have planned!
