Relegation from the Conference could be interesting for the North/South split. Four very Southern teams (Braintree, Maidstone, Havant and Aldershot) all pretty much nailed on to drop. In fact, Braintree are the furthest North (Essex) of the bottom nine.

They'll probably move Gloucester City and Oxford City back to the North and all 4 teams going down from the conference go into the south.

John Sheridan has done an excellent job sorting Chesterfield out after Martin Allen's disastrous spell in charge.

They were heading for regional football with a ridiculous record of 4 wins from 25; Sheridan has 9 wins from 15 with mostly the same players and they are now comfortable in mid table.

Good to see.

I think they'll challenge for promotion next season.

Some big games today. Good luck to Orient who can go up. Stockport and Chorley also battling for promotion into the conference.

6 of the top 9 play each other today.

Orient, chasing automatic promotion playing away at Solihull who themselves are chasing 2nd/3rd which is further stages of play-offs.

Stockport top of the league going into the final day, Chorley lose at Spennymoor thanks to an injury time goal, having missed a penalty with 5 minutes to go.

Stockport now need to win at already relegated Nuneaton to seal the title.

They've been in the North for 6 years and would love to see them go up.

Yeah that is set to be Boro's biggest attendance of the season, last heard Stockport i had sold 1,500 away tickets of their 2,000 allocation. Be a good money spinner for Boro to say farewell to the conference north.

Sad how it is about getting relegated, it could have been much worse we could have lost the club completely. There's going to be lot of local derbies next season, with trips to the likes of Barwell, Coalville, Tamworth, Stratford Town...

Hope Solihull with our old boy Tim Flowers can follow them, to finish 2nd is some achievement.

Still part time. Absolute opposite of Salford and AFC Fylde.
