isaidno Posted 27 April 2019 Posted 27 April 2019 Only Wrexham in the play offs that have been in the football league before.
Tuna Posted 27 April 2019 Author Posted 27 April 2019 Congrats to Stockport winning promotion back to the National League.
Fox92 Posted 27 April 2019 Posted 27 April 2019 Pleased for Stockport. Would like to see them back in the league. I went to Edgeley Park in our League One days. Hard to believe I've seen us play Stockport in a league game.
Tuna Posted 27 April 2019 Author Posted 27 April 2019 Marine relegated from the Northern Premier League...it's their first relegation in 125 years. They had 4 points taken off due to North Ferriby's results being expunged when they were wound up, and would have stayed up otherwise.

It doesn’t help that Bootle and City of Liverpool FC are gaining huge support within the area.

CosbehFox Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 Coalville may sneak in the playoffs through the back door. Stratford have a case of ineligible player under investigation.

CosbehFox Posted 2 May 2019 Posted 2 May 2019 Stratford deducted three points, so no playoffs for Coalville. The said semi-finals have had four dates proposed before finally decided on Monday. This means a successful team will play 3 games in 6 days if they make the Super Playoffs and give a distinct advantage to the Northern League clubs. Step 4 is involving playoff finals with teams who can't get promoted!
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 2 May 2019 Posted 2 May 2019 Wrexham eliminated. A new name will be in the football league.

King's Lynn chairmen played a blinder. League report problem and want to call off their semi. KL Chairman complains that other semi-finals has advantage of more rest. League advise that Friday night is okay for the other semi-final as Stourbridge have a ground availability issue for Saturday. League insist on Monday for fairness but create an issue where a successful team play 3 games in 6 days. KL Chairman changes their fixture to a Saturday on basis of travel and ground availability. Therefore having two days advantage. Stourbridge agree to give up home advantage to get the game on Saturday and the final on Monday (which will see a bigger crowd). All along King's Lynn know that no team really wants to play there on a weekday night because of player availability.

Lynn have form for bottling it in the playoffs so I still don't think they'll get through to the super final.
