Goalkeeper - Kasper Schmeichel
Kasper Schmeichel
A point-blank save from Bournemouth's Callum Wilson didn't merely turn Saturday's game for Leicester - it set the entire tone for their victory.

There is no doubt about it, the arrival of Brendan Rodgers has had a tremendous effect on the performance of the Foxes' senior players - and you don't get more senior at Leicester than Kasper Schmeichel.

It was a great clean sheet. Conversely, how many points is Hugo Lloris going to cost Tottenham?

Did you know? Since the start of the 2015-16 season, only Lukasz Fabianski (495) has made more saves in the Premier League than Schmeichel (378).

Defenders - Wes Morgan (Leicester City), Ben Mee (Burnley), Kurt Zouma (Everton)

Wes Morgan: Where is Wes Morgan getting his appetite for goals? The Leicester captain's deft flick past Bournemouth keeper Asmir Begovic was reminiscent of Denis Law.

Morgan has scored two goals in two games and looks as solid as a rock in defence. Quite apart from Morgan looking impressive in both penalty areas, the entire team looks very happy under the direction of their new manager.

What a nice way to celebrate what would have been their late owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's 61st birthday.

Garth Crooks team is usually eight players who have scored, a goalkeeper with a memorable save and a couple of others where he can discuss irrelevant stuff to that player.

Oooh two in Sherarer’s, but a different two?!?

(Still no Tielemans  )

This is Sofascore's PL team of the week.

Four City players, wow!!

I'm abit surprised by Morgan but there's clearly life in the old dog yet.

So, here's Garth Crooks' explanation as to why Tielemans made his team of the week:

Youri Tielemans: The decision by referee Michael Oliver to send off Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles was a shocking decision. If officials start sending off players for innocuous challenges then games will be over almost before they've begun.

Leicester City were left with no option but to take full advantage of this appalling error of judgement and that's precisely what Tielemans did.

What should have been an interesting contest was, in the end, a non-event thanks to Oliver.

The bloke gets paid to do this every week. Madness.

Great assessment of Tielemans there. First thing spoken about and there's one mention of an Arsenal player and nothing about us or YT lol

Anyway...Maguire, Tielemans and Vardy made Savage's team of the week.

What does that even mean? We should play for a 0-0 or let Arsenal score because the decision might be incorrect?

No surprise our 3 are there really.

I can only assume there were no other young keepers played this season - not knocking Travers at all but he played 2 games! Angus Gunn is 22 and probably a better shout there based on having actually played most of the season!

Wan-Bissaka is unlucky TAA was also brilliant, England looks sorted at RB for a long time. Rice would be there and abouts in CM other than our boys, but in general I think this is a decent shout for the Best Young XI this season.

Yeah I thought that as well. Gunn wasn't 21 at the start of the season though so doesn't qualify.

Thought there'd be better options than Rashford as well considering he's had a poor season.

Haven't rated Foyth, either. Always looks clumsy and doesn't fit in well in the Spurs side. Perhaps says more about the alternatives though.

Ahh I see, I didn't realise the cut-off point for this was 21 at the start of the season!

Other than Rashford, really only Calvert-Lewin has consistent gametime that I can think of up front. Though isn't Gabriel Jesus in that youth bracket because if so he should 100% be there above Rashford.
