Whatever you think of puel that took alot of strength and character. It would of been quite easy for him to send someone else to do the interviews. I just hope now more than ever we get behind him and the team they are certainly going to need the fans.

Beautiful from Claude. Must’ve been very hard to have done that in his non-native language too.

He’s going to need everyone’s backing at this club for the foreseeable. No matter what your opinion of him this club can’t afford to be divided at this moment in time.

We'll need his quiet, assured leadership in the coming weeks in the wake of this tragedy. He's handled himself with real dignity and class. That was a beautiful, heartfelt statement.

Dignified and emotional - well done Claude. I think we will probably see Wes, Kasper and Vards all start on Saturday because of the relationship they had with Vichai and rightly so. For the first time in a while our supporters and our manager and our team will offer each other complete and unquestioning support.

So many fantastic efforts to put into words what we are all feeling.

I have taken great comfort from the contributions of so many, at a time when it must be so hard to find the right words. We ought to have a thread of hat tips to the many big LCFC names, who have fought hard to say something coherent to us, when on the verge of breaking down. Birch, Piper, the Kasabian lads, Puel (who got rave reviews for his presser), Taggart, Shakespeare and many, many others.

And as for Stringer, may I suggest we forgive that man for the sins of the past, because he has been immense. I saw him (I think) on Sunday afternoon, white as a sheet and clearly struggling, but delivering the raw emotion that swirled around outside the King Power to listeners. He is a talented broadcaster, and if any award was going for this kind of thing, he deserves it, imho.

I've been a Puel out man for many months.. Still don't believe he's the long term answer but right now it seems unimportant and I'm firmly behind him,  quite frankly if we get a hiding in the next few games..... So what!

I'd have to agree with this, as someone who said at full time last week that I've conceded he just isn't the answer.

It's irrelevant now. His handling of that was brilliant and everyone needs to get behind him in this period.
