Carl the Llama Posted 2 December 2018 Posted 2 December 2018 There are some great images on the wikihow for picking up pigeons.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 December 2018 Posted 2 December 2018 I once very nearly caught a low-flying pigeon in the middle of a football match during the school lunch break. Arguably my greatest achievement to date.

Our garden is full of bloody pigeons. The proper fat ones mess up the tv when they sit on the ariel. Make a right mess when the neighbour's cats catch them too. Found a baby pigeon on the floor last year, that was traumatic. Found these flamboyant pigeons in Thailand a few years ago, much better than ours (photo doesn't do them justice, they were extremely pink). Also, **** funky pigeon.

I've casually walked along and pulled out an old trick of lifting my arms up and outwards which usually tricks the pigeons into thinking you are about to take off into flight - it worked and half of the pigeons flapped off much to the delight of the greasy chip eating lads, they were genuinely smiling and impressed by this little interaction, the biggest of the lads exclaimed "Thats amazing mayte!", and I went about my afternoon. Thought I just had to add that
