I think we’d be better off signing Magnum Ericsson or even Solero Campbell

Sol Campbell? He is to fat now.

We getting way ahead of ourselves here.

Son will never come to Leicester and as highlighted, he plays for Spurs. Hell No.

Lozano i reckon is too high profile for us and despite the pace, i think is basically another Musa.

I wouldn't mind seeing RLC here. Good Shout as hes devloping well at Chelsea

One person has mentioned son and actively said it wouldn't happen. Who's getting ahead of themselves?

I'll rephrase. No-one has suggested signing Son, just that they'd like to see that sort of player.

Touche. I wouldn't mind that sorta player either. One that's willing to run at defences and that can actually shoot (no disrepect to Dimi). Maybe Watford's Deulofeu?

Some people need a reality check , were not getting loftus-cheek, same with lozano who is going to take a step up and I wouldn’t be shocked if he replaced pulisic at dortmund

We don't need to panic too much in January, if someone's available or we want to get in before other teams come knocking in the summer then fair enough but we don't need to buy for the sake of it. Priority is clearly a winger and a striker. I like Gray, I love Albrighton, and I even think Ghezzal has shown the odd glimpse but we need something else. A winger who can play centrally as well would be perfect.

Central midfield options could be better but I don't think its urgent.

Central defender who wants to play on the right side would be great, which side has Benkovic been playing on? Maguire, Evans prefer the left and even Soyuncu came on and went straight to the left on Saturday.

Don't worry. Paolo maldini spend most of his cb career as right sided cb, but left sided in 3.

Btw anyone know who's DW?

Amartey and, in a pinch, Albrighton can provide cover at RB, or we have youth options available.

The priorities for me would be a top-quality striker and a creative CM (not another defensive-minded one).

With Iheanacho out of form and Okazaki off in the summer, we're woefully short of options up front. I'd like to see us get a different style of striker to complement Vardy (and potentially displace him, long-term). Iheanacho was brought in with that in mind but it hasn't really clicked for him yet, frustratingly. Doubt we'd get one in Jan though, so probably a summer signing.

A more creative CM who can advance the play would also be ideal, with Silva not quite up to scratch so far. Can see this being our only inbound business in January, actually. Of course, this will only improve us if the rest of our players move more in matches and make themselves available, as even the best CMs would struggle if the team in front of them are as static as we have been at times.

Otherwise we're in pretty good shape, with the two out on loan looking promising for next season. A backup LB will be necessary if Elder leaves or isn't in the plans, and we could probably upgrade on one of Ghezzal/Gray although I'm somewhat optimistic that by improving other parts of the team it could improve performances from our forward players.

I think Delph would be a great signing. A cm who passes forward and would be able to cover left back when fuchs leaves. Thorgan hazard would be great buy as he assists and scores a few but think his start to the season could attract a big team from Spain or Italy. We definitely need a few more goals from our wide forwards to take the strain off vards

Where will he realistically go then? Because he's being wasted at Chelsea. Maybe he would suit Liverpool better, but even then he wouldn't necessarily be a starter.

I think Puel has done well in identifying who needs replacing in the squad, it just takes time to complete the process. As for being curtains... we're 8th, who is is meant to be curtains for?

Many people don't realise that it's one thing to identify where we need signings, but it's another thing to persuade the highest quality players in those positions to come here.

Just because we don't sign Messi, doesn't mean Puel doesn't rate him.

mmhmm. Not bad shouts. If memory serves me correct, there have been links with Hazard in the past and he's had a good year. Why not?

he has seen what has happened to solanke and he wont make that mistake

i expect he would want to stay in London so west ham or palace would be in the box seat

where would he fit in for us ?  i like him but not sure in which position he is a certain starter …. he isn't going to take a step down unless he receives assurances he will play every important game

I think we could Gazump Andre Gomes from Everton if we really tried, and he has looked really good. Seeing as Everton have no option to buy on their loan clause, if we go to Barca and pay out his release clause come the end of the season, we will force Everton to either spend too much for him, weakening the rest of their window, or we will get a top, top quality player. He is playing in a 4-2-3-1 in the prem as well, so would settle in instantly.

Back up LB if Elder leaves, sell Iborra and Silva and use Choudhury as one of our 4 CMS, sell Gray if he hasn't visibly improved by the end of the season and go for a winger that we think is out of our league like Chiesa or Ziyech or Neres. Ghezzal is a perfect backup for Maddison at the 10 position. We don't need another striker yet imo; Vardy has been a bit off form but I think he will be fine. Sell Jakupovic so he can be upset on someone elses U23 bench.

Spurs? I think he's happy trying to break into Chelsea to be honest, Kovacic may be temporary and then he only needs to fight it out with Barkley for a spot.
