Their team was a who's who of mega-talents and up-and-coming mega talents lols.

I'm not saying that he's not a capable manager and have attributes that might suit us, and perhaps the positives are that he might attract the next level up of player to us for the first team & academy, but whoever manages us will face the same internal team issues the current and last 2 managers face/ed.

Well of course he hasn't just miraculously got them to score 159 goals out of witch craft, the squad was obscene but the fact is he was part of recruiting some of them and bringing numerous other youngsters through.

Prior to the 2016/17 a number of those players were unknowns or hadnt fulfilled potential, then he took them in to the stratosphere and now it's easy to say that squad was amazing but that's because of what they achieved.

He would have to produce miracles to do the same here but it's an insight in to what he's capable of.

I'm pretty sure that Jardim inherited a team that had been put together by none other than Claudio Ranieri who won the 2nd division and then in his first season in the top division finished second or third.

Of course the fact that Monaco are one of the richest clubs in the French Leagues may have something to do with them finishing high in the league. They are a BIG club financially.

When Jardim went in there, they tried to get rid of all the big named players like James Rodrigues and Falcao. It was the exceptional young players that were brought through, which were maybe a once in a generation crop but he got them playing obscene football.

I thought people were so sure he was coming here. Lined up for the summer.

Where's that guy who thinks there are only a handful of teams that people would choose over Leicester?

Monaco - lower level ligue 1 chosen over the mighty Leicester of the premier league.
