Guest worth_the_wait Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Apologies if anyone has mentioned this before, but ... The Club are changing how they charge for tickets next season (ordered online or by phone). https://tickets.lcfc.com/screenloader.aspx?type=include&page=custom/documents/html/ticketfees.html The below fees are applied per ticket purchased. These fees are applied online and over the phone, there are no additional fees in the Foxes Fanstore. The fees are applied regardless of the delivery method (including Print@Home). I know some other clubs have been doing this for years. But this is just blatant profeteering, with no logical justification for doing it at all (it's a single credit card payment transaction, and the tickets arrive in a single letter). if you're as angry as me, then drop the club an Email (as I Have just done). You never know ... if enough of us complain, then they might (just might) admit it's a mistake.

Ordered 5 tickets for Cambridge Monday. 50 quid became 55. Shite really especially for away tickets. They have been sent those and are just posting no need for it. So 30 x 19 next season becomes 31 x19. I was always happy to waive 1 quid when buying for my mates but there's no way I can lose out on anywhere between 5 and 15 quid each away game depending on who I'm buying for. It's a pure piss take.
jammie82uk Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Not that I fall into that category but Also £1.50 for non-STH/members, is that really necessary?

That's what businesses do, oh and governments.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 26 June 2019 Posted 26 June 2019 Always thought the one pound per transaction was a bit of a joke. Now per ticket is just a scam by the club. No need for it what so ever
grobyfox1990 Posted 26 June 2019 Posted 26 June 2019 Just a con. Will be sending friends or relatives to the ticket office in person now to buy tickets, assume that won't incur the £1 charge. Little things like this get me, more than happy to pay good money for a good product, but if you're blatantly skimming money from me for no reason, be it 1p, £1 or £100, it annoys me.
SemperEadem Posted 26 June 2019 Posted 26 June 2019 From the website ‘The fees are applied regardless of the delivery method (including Print@Home).’
smitha Posted 26 June 2019 Posted 26 June 2019 Not fair really especially if you live outside the city, but unless the fans kick off and boycott the club which ain't going to happen don't think it is going to change. You would think the print at home would save the ticket office time and money, to charge a quid for each transaction is taking the pi** Just seen there is a supporters club in discussions over it hopefully but don't hold your breath.
HybridFox Posted 27 June 2019 Posted 27 June 2019 Bit of a scam if you're a member/ST holder as well. Surely that should be one of the benefits!
Soup Posted 27 June 2019 Posted 27 June 2019 So when the next free beer giveaway happens it won't actually be free. Saying that the rimming will.still occur among lots of our fans.
grobyfox1990 Posted 27 June 2019 Posted 27 June 2019 Still worth a partial rimming given most clubs probably charge this fee and don't give you a few pints and a scarf in return
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 28 June 2019 Posted 28 June 2019 The FoxesTrust, The Supporter's Club and UFS have written to the club to ask for an explanation for these fees.
Filbert_Ross Posted 28 June 2019 Posted 28 June 2019 Won’t bother ordering my mates tickets now for cup games. Will all do it separately to get our moneys worth. ?
Guest worth_the_wait Posted 28 June 2019 Posted 28 June 2019 The ticket office did reply to me, and imply that they would pass it up the "food chain" for consideration. (it was actually a nice reply, to my very irate and slightly ranting Email)

Bayfox Posted 1 July 2019 Posted 1 July 2019 Just brought my Rotherham tickets. Effectively lcfc have a 100% mark up on under 13 tickets
