Has that happened to anyone before? Yes, happens quite regularly, especially closer to the game. Returns from staff, players, maybe away scheme, who knows what the club do.

Goes from Piccadilly to Altrincham and stops at Old Trafford (Next to Cricket Ground) Tram to Parr's Wood goes to Trafford Bar..10/15 minute walk

Also taking place from 11am-3pm BST on the same day is the OVO Energy Tour of Britain, with the stage beginning in Altrincham town centre and ending on Deansgate in Manchester. I normally use the tram to exchange quay (Eccles or media city trams) from Piccadilly / Piccadilly gardens it’s about a 10 minute walk to the away end and seems easier to get back into Manchester after the game than some of the other tram stops.
