I was gonna say I hope you sack Emery because you deserve better than this clown but for selfish reasons I hope you keep him.

I’ve always liked Arsenal. And always wanted them to do better than the other big teams. I watched my all time favourite match between us two when Dennis scores that outrageous goal. It is a desperate shame to see how you’re slipped away a bit, but a club of your stature will recover. As united have found losing a long term manager is a tough thing to over come. Hopefully things turn around for you soon, and you’re back competing at the top again. After all, you allowed us to watch the likes of Henry, so I’ll for ever be thankful of that.

I actually think considering how well you have been playing we did well to stay in the game today

Rodgers has come back from Celtic a far more mature and astute manager, and I think you have a lovley mix at the moment, experience with evans and vardy and young players of top quality around that. Only time I have thought he got it wrong as at United when he played with the handbrake and played the name not the line up. Outside of that he has done very well, even today putting Gray on when perez was tiring to turn the game.

My fear for us is if we decide to appoint that Mourinho , who does not carry himself like a arsenal manager, it was would be the worst culture fit possible. He does not carry himself like a arsenal manager should, I know arsene did not always carry himself brilliantly in the latter years but their is a certain standard of manager a old club like ours which he doesn't have, and his chelsea link also makes it a bad fit. His success may work at first but disaster like a dark cloud would loom soon around the corner.

Good luck, I think the key for you is one step at a time, if you can keep it that way then the skys the limit.

Thanks! It was a tight game in the first half, before we seemed to step up when Gray came on.

Ngl, I was really shocked to see you start a 5 back, it seemed so un-arsenal like. You had periods of playing well and getting at us, but majority of it Aubameyang was strapped to the wing and Ozil wondering around. There seemed to be no fight in your team.

Good luck anyway, I think the key for you is one step at a time, with the likes of Morgan and Fuchs still in the dressing room I am sure reminders will be given week to week.

You guys did alright today, as soon as we scored though in typical Arsenal fashion your heads dropped.

You can tell Emery is under severe pressure when he starts to chop and change things, he is clearly walking on thin ice.

What Arsenal need is a no nonsense manager, someone who will give your players a good kick up the backside. You also lack leaders as well, that's been evident for years, you really need two captain material figures, one at CB and one at CM, if you don't rectify that then you'll remain a 5th/6th place team, maybe even worse.

Thanks for the kind words. Can't lie, I'm not a fan of Arsenal, having grown up in the Home Counties with plastic Gooners fans all around claiming it's their local team (FFS) getting gip for supporting Leicester but have always respected the way you have played football and think Emery will come good for you. Either way, you will always be there or thereabouts. We are just in an absolute purple patch right now and losing to this Leicester side is no Shame for any side in the league.

Yes, ditto, thanks for the kind words.

Having watched City play Arsenal since the 62/63 season, yesterday was the first time I have seen such a listless, negative and frankly very uninspiring performance from Arsenal.

The lack of closing down and freedom you gave us in the middle of the park at times was mind boggling. Players drifting out of position, your forwards just in front of the back four/five at times and maybe two decent attacks in the 90 minutes. You played without real purpose and I thought gave Leicester too much respect!!! We are a good team, but even Burnley came and gave it a good go.

Personally think your your manager may be another Puel. Uninspiring and can't pull the team together. If you are willing to wait until next season for hoped for improvements, stick with him, otherwise get rid.

If you sign Mourinho you'll have exactly the same problem that United did only it'll be even worse because you've got a lot less money to spend.

He won't like any of your players, particularly your defenders, but he'll still want to play defensive football.

I don't see at all how you'd be any different to his Man Utd other than you've got an awful defence.

Izzy since the mid 90's I have seen us aquire a lot of very different supporters, some good, some nick hornby types from the home countiues.

It comes with the territory being a big club thats based near the centre of London.

I think the best moment I ever had watching a match that didn't involve Leicester was Alan Sunderland's last-gasp winner in the 79 Cup Final.

Watched it in Kilburn with my Arsenal-supporting Irish uncle and got nearly as pumped as him when that went in.

Massive club currently struggling, bound to come good again. But - I agree - Mourinho isn't the answer...

I get it mate but when I moved down here from Leicester nearly 20 years ago I was amazed how few Luton, Wycombe, Watford, Oxford etc. supporters there were (considering how close they all are) and how many Spurs, Arsenal, and Chelsea fans there are instead.

I cant understand either Izzy

I grew up in Islington early on in my life and was taken to my first game aged seven by my uncle.

Spurs Friends at school   when I moved nearer to Haringay used to rib me and say why not spurs, but  they understood arsenal ran in my family.

I can understand if you dont support your local non league club , but never understood those who have a league club like oxford united, lutton town on their doorstep and yet choosed to support us or united with no family ties.

Just feels a bit souless that for me.
