The OH Leuven Thread 2020/21

If we can hang in until the final two games of the season, it might actually happen. We've got Cercle away and Waasland-Beveren at home, two teams who are sitting at the bottom. Not saying it'll be a done deal that, but we've got, in my opinion, not the hardest of schedules left.

...sounds like a plan, but we have choked on what appeared to be easy games before...!!!

I know. The good news is, it's not a must. The only thing we had to do at the start of the season is stay up. In my opinion, anything on top of that is bonus.

Tonight 8th placed OH Leuven face 2nd placed Royal Antwerp, where 3 points would move OH Leuven up to 7th in the table.

Royal Antwerp are without a win in their last 5 games in all competitions, with their last win in the league being 2-1 against Beerschot on 7th Feb. Their best player this season has been Dieumerci Mbokani, with the striker getting 8 goals and 1 assist in 20 league games so far.

Last time these 2 teams met was back in November, where Royal Antwerp ran out eventual 3-2 winners, the score was 2-2 after just 17 minutes.

Leicester Loanees: Kamal Sowah starts, Filip Benkovic and Josh Eppiah on the bench - Andy King is also on the bench

Probably already been discussed in here at some point but what'd happened if Leuven and ourselves both qualified for the Europa league. Isn't it against the rules to have two clubs with the same ownership in the same competition?

...Eupen seems like a team we should be looking to get full points against!!!

We always appear to come up short against these teams, I am worried about this game.
