Presumably a similar arrangement to the training ground loan but this one being for the extension. Top did say we will start the process rolling again later in the year, so the timing of it seems to match up.

Very encouraging. I did think that Covid might make the club delay the stadium expansion plans at first, but then I thought it's actually a really good time to get it done. Shutting a stand or two makes absolutely no difference to anyone at the moment.

Would be great news but I’d be surprised if it is stadium expansion, particularly as Tops notes said they wouldn’t be resuming it until the end of this year.

Yeah, you're probably right. Struggling to think what else it could be for, though. I guess it is a small possibility that he's decided to fast-track the expansion.

Probably just a cash flow thing so we have all the tv money upfront so we can use it to buy players and invest straight away I think a lot of clubs do it like this

We did and it could be.

 

But I think this is the 7th loan we have taken out with Macquarie since 2018 so is just as likely to be a cash flow thing but I don’t know so could easily be to do with the expansion

Given its King Power’s 10 year anniversary, I’d imagine that it’d be fitting for them to announce the expansion?

It might still be nothing  but there’s plenty of reasoning for something to be announced (at least) this year
