Why has Kohli spent so much time off the field the last couple of games? Personally think you need strict substitute rules in T20. 

 

England have too many batsmen who want to bat high up, lacking a bit of a finisher IMO. Really is a specialist skill to be able to come in and hit straight away. Risky having such as fast bowler based attack too.

Didn't seem to bother him too much whilst batting  I know there are rules on when you can bat if you are off the field a while but don't suppose it matters if you bat first

Talk is he's going to train with the squad this summer. I wouldn't be so sure, been in cracking form in various domestic t20s recently.

Someone else who wants to open is not what we need though so is be surprised if Hales came back. I don't know if the stats back me up but I think we were better with Buttler coming in at 5 or 6 to finish an innings but can understand why you'd want him facing more balls. Not sure Stokes is the best T20 player and the second slower bowler in Moeen seemed to be working ok, and most teams seem to have that option.

The good thing about this England team is that it only takes two or three of any of the top seven to fire and they'll either set or chase huge targets.

The improvement for teams such as these 2 and a couple of others to bat very deep is impressive. Getting good quality batsmen in all forms of the game all the way down to 7 or 8 is great.
