I can think of a few I've enjoyed down the years, but I especially recommend the following

Over the Hill and Far Away by Ricky Hill

Wise after the Event by Dennis Wise

Cows' Backsides and Banjos by Adi Akinbyi

Does My Hair Look Good in This? by Robbie Savage

Burying the Hatchet by David Speedie

I Must Have Taken a Wrong Turn Officer by David Pleat

Me And My Splinters by Conrad Logan

I only have one, it's not very good, but it's Brian Little's Starting a Wave. I have a fond memory of me and my mate, 14, grabbing our copies and skipping school to get Brian to sign them for us at Loughborough's WHSmiths. I still have it in some box in the attic along with a packet of Marlboro reds that Walsh signed on some hectic night in the Griffin pub when I was about 16.

I enjoyed Steve Claridge - Beyond the Bootcamps. My version changed font half way through, but it was quite funny.

Comic sans?

Was this the book which was co-written by our very own @UpTheLeagueFox? Or am I getting it mixed up with another book by Geoff?

My favourite City autobiography was the Muzzy Izzet one. Great stories about the O’Neil era and how those lads combined work and play. I think that was the last era of hard drinking players and they had a few real characters in Walsh, Muzz, Savage, Elliot, Claridge etc. Most importantly, they gave us a good spell in the top flight and won 2 league cups and got to another final. A really great spell for the club!

I wrote "Crest Of A Wave" about Martin O'Neill's first two years in charge.

Didn't know what I was doing and it was pretty terrible but glad I did it anyway.

I recall one or two unfortunate typographic errors...

Would like a copy of this. Is it still available?

My only copy of a Martin O'Neill biography was an official Celtic publication & only skims over his time with us.

Don't get your hopes up about the quality of it but drop me private message and I'll dig one out for you.

I’d completely forgotten this existed! I definitely had a copy -  no idea if it might still be in a box somewhere.

Stan Collymore's was a good read I thought, until he got to the point of printing his diary owing to his depression. Then it got a bit boring (I get why he published it and it will no doubt have helped someone, just wasn't for me).

Peter Shilton's was the most boring one I've read. Conversely to Stan's, Shilton's gets better towards the end when he starts gambling and having an affair...
