Curses lifted this season

So this season we've beaten Arsenal at the Emirates (who hasn't!), Finally beaten Man United, won a semi final, got to the FA Cup final and broken West Broms annoying winning streak at our place.

 

It does seem a season of curses we've been able to break!

 

Anything else I've forgotten?

We hadn't got to an FA Cup Final for quite a few years either...

Bogey team? We beat them last season at home?

Best one would be to break the FA Cup 'curse'. Icing on the cake on what has been a pretty incredible season so far.

Yep and the season before too? People remember the 0-3 and 1-4 defeats under Puel but aside from that our record against them is okay.

This really. Obviously it's nice to get to a cup final and I appreciate it hasn't happened in my lifetime in the FA Cup but something doesn't sit right with me celebrating a "curse" being lifted when, if I remember correctly, we hold the record for most amount of FA Cup finals without winning it and this is just an opportunity to extend that run? 

 

People acting like we've got a stroll in the park against Rothley Imps coming up in the final, we're playing one of the best teams in the world, relatively speaking, and it's extremely possible we'll lose. We're probably under dogs or should be.

 

I'd save any triumphant mention of the FA Cup and curses for if we win it.

One stat that I didn't see get a mention (it might be wrong!) - as far as I can see, we'd never kept a clean sheet at Wembley (old or new) until Sunday

Aye we're at a great risk of becoming the team that has played and lost 5 FA Cup Finals.

 

 I hate all this triumphant talk it reminds me of '63 when we were massive favourites to beat Man Utd and the LCFC Captain Appleton was persuaded to be filmed up in the Royal Box collecting the FA Cup prior to the game.

Winning the FA Cup is the only curse/hurdle I’m worried about. Big ask against Chelsea, but we are capable of it for sure. Depends which Leicester turn up and which Chelsea. Certainly be an interesting match, but my hopes are bumping along at 50/50

Think Palace is Maguire's bogey team, not ours, we've done fine against them since he left. His record against them at Hull, us and Manchester United is atrocious.
