Potter is on 2m a year as per what's available online. So even if Chelsea do want him and Brighton did want Rodgers (a lot of stars have to align) we still have the problem that he's unlikely to go and work there on 20% of what he's on here.

Chelsea will go for Zidane or another high profile manager

Zidane doesn't want the Chelsea job.

France is the only thing he's got eyes on right now. He could've had Madrid back, he could've gone to PSG but declined.

Brendan is not going anywhere until he agrees his severance package ☹️

If he agrees a contract with Chelsea we can just terminate his contract and be rid of him.

No need for compensation if he has another job lined up

Chelsea moving quickly to secure Poch after Top discussed the LCFC position with him. Potter is just a cover story. It true, honest, heard it whilst picking up a Zinger Tower burger.

Zidane is so insanely rich already, he can afford to pick and choose whatever he wants as a job.

He declined PSG, the club who basically transferred their ownership to a single player, the club who are paying said player 300m over the next 3 years of his contract.

They sacked Poch no questions asked, they didnt even care they had to compensate him.

The financial package at PSG will always be the biggest available

Legit question, do we even know if Rodgers has taken training this week? I’m wondering if the press have been told to keep quiet whilst something is happening.

Exactly there's money and then there is PSG money. If he was about that then he would have joined them. He just wants the France job.

Whilst I don't think it will happen.

Rodgers to Chelsea isn't as far-fetched as some would think.

His and the general media narrative is around little Leicester being the problem not him.

Anyone realistically touting Potter and dismissing Rodgers for the job is not taking in the wider context, and only focusing on the last 12 months.

It's highly unlikely, but people forget how good we were for the first two seasons under Rodgers. We spent more time in the Champions League places than anyone else and won the FA Cup.

He seems to smash it in his first two seasons everywhere he goes, so prospective employers could look at him as a decent short term appointment and grant him a lucrative two year contract.

Love to think that Brendan is seething right now, storming around his office blaming Top, the players and the fans for ruining his chance of going Chelsea.

His ego is taking a battering especially now Potter is top dog when its comes to being see as the best young British manager.

Lovely stuff

I’d love it if Potter told them where to go.

Me too but if it's true he's one of the lowest paid managers in the league then let's face it he's off if given the chance
