The final nail will be driven in when we succumb to another humiliating defeat to Villa on Saturday. There will be no clinging on after that. Sunday, liberation day.

If this chancer didn't lose interest in the job and basically checked out months ago, he might have had a shot at the Chelsea job.

He's been setting a media narrative for ages. He'll be in with an 'outside' shot and his agent will be working overtime to generate a buzz.

I can see it on a caretaker basis - remember he's pretty good at coming in and improving what's already there.

He'll be buzzing thinking his phone is actually going to ring for the Chelsea job :giggle:

The thing is you are probably right! This might cause, if possible, even more problems in our dressing room.  He would love to go to Chelsea.....

Oh this is too good to be true...c'mon Chelsea, nab Rodgers from us, will you?

It would basically make up the difference between the Fofana fee and how much we wanted if we don't have to sack Rodgers 👀

We will definitely get to a point where the senior management will start to take some of the flack. They are responsible for a lot of things on and off the pitch. As a set of customers we are being charged more and more for a product that becomes increasingly sub standard.

Yes we all agree that BR has played the no signings tune far too much but we also need to see they the recruitment has been a shambles for a while. They have a role to play in this mess.

If we go down this year it's squarely at their feet. Not acting quick enough and having the foresight to stop the rot will be the reason.

That's the problem for us, if it were - lets say -  a food product, we'd simply stop buying it and use a rival brand.

But our club isnt a product to us and we cant just walk away from it, it's more akin to a family member in distress atm.

It's so difficut to show discontent to the manager and still  show support to players and club, particulary the players who are given their roles by Rodgers and are often not played to their strengths (Ndidi as a CB ffs) , add to this the other factors of his negative mind set and it's very tempting to criticise them as not good enough.

As l and others have said for a while, Rodgers is destroying our club and making us question its brilliant owner -  it ALL comes back to this toxic individual.

If it wasn't for the way Fofana and Rodger's relationship ended, I really could see it.

With Bournemouth free (Dyche), Chelsea free (Poch, Potter) and Leipzig free (Rose) plus Rodgers, Gerrard and Lopetegui (Sevilla) all on the brink… there could be quite the game of Managerial merry go round about to begin.

Rumours are they want Potter. Rodgers to Brighton?!

If there recruitment model is anything to go by I doubt Brighton would even look twice at Rodgers

Unbelievable that Chelsea sack their manager when they are sixth on 10 points, yet we are still with Bodger's on 1 point and 20th. 🤣 Madness

Surely the media will see it as a perfect opportunity. World class manager shafted by the club, will work wonders for a Chelsea team that needs a pick me up.
