If we win the FA Cup and finish top 6 then it'll be our second best season.... ever.

Rodgers has done a terrific job. Sports is about consistency, and the greats across all sports are consistent, which is what makes them the best.

Enjoy these times.

it's incredible what Brendon Rodgers has achieved with the Foxes.

this list shows that LCFC is already one of the Top4, at least one of the Top6 clubs.

winning the FA cup would be the perfect dream.

we'll all keep the fingers crossed for Saturday...     :scarf:

Apparently we never dropped out of the CL spots until the final match last season...

Winds me up when they say that as it is clearly not true.

If we won the FA cup and finished anywhere above 18th it'd be our 2nd greatest season ever.

League Cup is lovely but it always really bugged me growing up we'd never won one of the big 2. Now we have the league title, we need the cup.

Agree with the sentiment but I dunno about anywhere 18th.

O'Neill winning the league cup and finishing top 10 was incredible, especially with his resources, as he did it consistently.

We've had spells of success, 2nd and 3rd in the 1920's, 5 cup finals in the 60's and 4th & a couple of top 10's in the 60's, Jimmy Bloomfield couple of top 10's in the early 70's, Martin 4 top 10's and 2 LC finals in the 90's (bless him).

But yes 2 seasons in a row in the top 5, hopefully top 4, Cup win the icing on the cake, following a few seasons after title win and Champions League season.

Its a much more closed shop now due to money.  10 different sides won the title between 1960 & 1972, 7 sides have won the PL title, 3 once.

For Leicester fans this is probably as good as it gets, with NP, CR & now Brendan.  They have a really good business model with a youngish squad and decent quality added to each year and the occasional sale always getting top dollar.

Lets see if they all stay if we reach the UCL.

Lets just hope we have a lucky day and win the last English trophy we need for the set, if you don't count the Watney, Anglo-Italian, Full Members Cups!!!!

C'mon Lestah:please:

I think there's a difference between "achievement" and "greatness".

Ok the FA Cup isn't what it used to be and maybe I'm over-romanticising it but I can't believe there are any Leicester fans who don't think about it every time they see a team lifting the trophy, or an open top bus parade, or even just a list of previous winners.

So League title number 1, but FA Cup 2nd. Everything else pales in comparison, in my humble opinion. I'm tempted to say that, because of the occasion and the nature of knock out football, winning at Wembley might even be more special in its own way, although nothing will compare to the fairytale of 2016.

Had a moment of disbelief today when I saw a tv ad for it today. We're actually in a FA Cup Final!

Totally agree about winning at Wembley-we didn’t get to see the moment the league was won.

Mind you, the Queen will have to go some to beat Bocelli for the trophy presentation!

I had a chat with my Derby supporting mate. Despite them winning 2 x league titles in the 70s, Sunderland, Southampton and Ipswich winning the Cup were all burned into the public psyche much much more..Mainly,.of course, due to the fact that the FA Cup was the only.(!) Live match on TV in them days.

Even so, the imagery of an FA Cup win is so much more stark than lifting a league title. It won't beat the league win fir achievement. But it will for iconography. This is era defining stuff.

Another thing that makes it special - the walk up the steps and the trophy presentation. Oh to have been a winning FA Cup captain in the days of yore.

Totally understand now why people say the semi final is the worst game to lose.

As long as the lads give it all they got at Wembley I will be at peace. With our guys having clocked many many more miles in the red limiter than the chelski players it will be massive towards the end to hold out as Chelski will use all their subs and tactics to come at us. We need Kasper to be heroically big for us on the day to keep some of them shots out. oh and Vardy this is his moment to cap of his amazing story!

Yes it is.  Yes it is.  And I shan't hear any different!
