So have semi final tickets for Wednesday with my son. We’ve heard from school he needs to isolate until next Sunday 😩

Tough situation to be in. Maybe do a LFT on Tuesday and if all clear then as long as neither of you are showing any symptoms and maintain social distancing then should be ok?

So many people have said this but it goes against everything I e believed during the pandemic.

I get your point and good on you, but it's hard when the government doesn't follow their own rules #matthancock. 

 

If I'm being totally honest and I was in your situation and was confident (after doing LFT), I'd go but take all the necessary precautions.

Fair play for sticking with it, I’m probably stating what you already know but it’s fine it just your son that needs to isolate. I know you said he has a ticket and presume you have considered this already.

I've lost count with the times i've been asked. 

 

NO. NO I cant get you tickets. 

 

Join the ESTC or apply on the uefa/fifa portal next time around. On another note... have you booked your train tickets for tomorrow yet? :)

Yes mate train is booked, think it’s at about 10.45 or something like that. What time is yours?

Had to get a ticket through the uefa portal general sale after deciding not to renew my ESTC a few years back..

Do we really need to show I.D? Or is it like the FA cup, negative test and in..

don’t really want to be taking my passport for the day which is what the latest email is saying I’ve got to do.

Haven't they scrapped the test requirement for the semis and final (or have I made that up)? I know masks are no longer mandatory in your seats and obviously social distancing is not possible in your seat with 60,000 (or probably anywhere around the ground at peak times for that matter).

Seen a few lads kick off about this and rightly so. They've spent thousands over the past 3 or 4 years gaining caps, only for someone who's only interested now England are doing well to want sorting out, **** them.

 

Will no doubt see you at England games from September onwards, and hopefully at Germany 2024 :englandsmile4wf:

Lateral flow(Home kits) or the app to show you're doubled jabbed and you'll be fine.

 

They aren't arsed about I.D. only bothered about LFT negative result.
