Chris Powell - Former Player Remembers

[StanSP]

This is a good one

[21st Century Fox]

It doesn't mention his stellar acting career in Ted Lasso once!!!

[Guest Sharpe's Fox]

“When I won League 1 with Charlton, I used what I’d learnt at Leicester. I used Nigel’s blueprint. He allowed me to see how a manager should work with his staff, and how he dealt with player issues, coaching issues, preparing for matches and dealing with the external issues people don’t know about.

“I saw it at firsthand. It was just a dream. He was, and is, a big influence on how, as a manager, I deal with people and players.”

Always loved his penalties with Conrad Logan.

Always come across to me as a genuinely brilliant bloke.

[Wymsey]

A true gentleman.

More glowing reviews of big Nige, unsurprisingly.

Yeah seems all top guys like Powell love Pearson. Always nice to hear.

When you come back into the thread and see all the bullshit Anti-Pearson posts have been taken down 😍

Powell is a class act. As stated above, his pens with Conrad Logan were always a good bit of fun.

Pro-Pearson agenda is hegemonic on this website. Another fat W for us lads.

[The People's Hero]

Delete anything other than the Pearson acolytes !

Enjoy your echo chamber.

[Crazy Kop Corner]

Still love Chrissy Powell.

Remember him giving us the thumbs up during the Watford play off game a few years ago and not be impartial in the slightest.

Would love to see him back involved with our great club.

Wasn't it he who gave the lino a hug when we scored once? Recall he was on the coaching staff at the time.

He was temporarily in charge at that point along with Stowell before Sven officially took over. A Franck Moussa belter against Scunthorpe is what prompted it I believe.
