Either way it is good news.

Covid rules are very different these days. He could easily play 3 days later, but it’s probably not the best idea!

I know but PL protocols are not the same as govt ones and he must have been unable to train for at least wed/Thursday/Fri they are tested at least twice a week and he isn’t going to be positive for less than five days in total just thought it was an odd statement from Brendan on Wednesday unless he was referring to Rennes away as being the ‘next game’ ???

Playing Fofana in the Arsenal game (knowing Rodgers he will start him) is such a strange thing to do. Let him come off the bench against Rennes, if we need to go to a back three, but he has been out for so long, one more week is not going to make a difference.

I’m sure Rodgers isn’t either. If one of your best players is fit, you play him. Obviously I don’t mean every game for 90 mins though initially.
