Is anyone going to Moscow thinking of being brave/stupid enough to attend lokomotiv v galatasaray on the Thursday? Its 10pm kick off. It would be a true once in a lifetime experience but probably carries a 50% chance of death for a British passport holder. Please give me the required nudge to go or tell me I’m an idiot for considering it..

4 of us going, sorted tickets today.

 

You’ll need a QR code from a Russian PCR though

you’ll be fine. In terms of Moscow clubs. Lokomotiv are by far less active when it comes to ultras / hooligans. Galatasaray unlikely to bring many if any at all.

Was there really any need to band the STH brackets? Why not All STH's at 8:00 and members from 14:00. Surely when people registered interest they knew there was less than 100 going.

 

I guess they go off sale at 11:00 tomorrow so they can send vouchers out in time

3 sold so far... (not including block taken for ticket office mates etc. that will inevitably be returned)

it's hardly a surprise when they put it on sale with literally not enough time to obtain a visa to enter the country! (even on 3 working day premium service - if I went to London embassy today, would need to fly on Tuesday, no guarantee passport would be back?). Laughable really..

Yep. Absolute joke. Wish I took the gamble and got the visa sorted sooner but felt like I needed to be sure I could definitely get a match ticket. They waited until it was almost impossible to post the info. Appalling. They don’t want us represented in Europe.

Warsaw was great. Sad to miss Moscow. Roll on Napoli.

Looks Spartak are just as shit as our own ticket office. After weeks of saying they think it might be behind closed doors, a crowd of 13,500 has been allowed!

 

Actually have sympathy here it’s been the blind leading the blind. It will be the first travelling support from Europe to visit Russia for a game

Completely agree.. got the bug after the Warsaw trip and if this had been announced even 1 day earlier - I was in Manchester yesterday and could have gone to the local Russian fingerprinting salon there (!). Anyone know of any other visa workaround?

Highly highly doubtful. I submitted my visa this time last week after a load of faffing trying to sort out the ‘invitation to Russia’ letter and only got it back yesterday. That was via the premium service. Apply the same theory here and you’ll only get your visa on match day if submitted today. Flights have rocketed too so I’ve had to do a stopover

Edinburgh visa centre does a one 1 day express service rather than 3 days for London and Manchester. Get your visa support invitation from realrussia.co.uk (£15) which they'll send you in 15 mins by email. Go to the visa centre tomorrow in Edinburgh.  You could theoretically chance it by going Monday morning, collecting it Tuesday and flying out of Edinburgh at 17.00 Tuesday with a change in Amsterdam that gets you to Moscow early hours Wednesday morning.

Quality advice Riso! However, realistically I'm not sure I can get to Edinburgh twice before departure date!!
