With the opening times on the ticket collection point I get the feeling once you are there you will be made to remain there by the police and shipped to the stadium. The opening times for the champions league games were much earlier in the day. 
I wouldn’t get there to early if you were hoping to pick up and leave for a few beers somewhere.

I also suspect at least 2 hours being held in the ground afterwards before we are bussed out of there.

Yep, people who are getting off the Gatwick and Stansted flights now are being put onto buses straight to the ticket collection:

I’d be early. You’ll be completely ag the hands of the coppers and they have a track record of turning up purposely late. Also going the long way rather than the 20 minute journey it should be.

At the collection point now. Collected my ticket 20 mins ago. Whilst in there under cover Italian OB (head honcho) I imagine, walked in and asked the staff how many tickets had been collected. 370 was the answer from the Leicester staff. In fairness a few have arrived since but I doubt we are taking anywhere near the 700 initially expected.

Thats fair enough though;

 

alcohol + brits + Football Is what foreign police will see as a recipe for disaster.

 

The recording I get because it allows them to identify you later if there's any trouble.

 

What is frustrating though, is that it's happening to Leicester fans, who likely won't be an issue, whilst their lot walk around tooled up.

 

The police haven't got a good reputation of controlling criminal behaviour in Naples, they might aswell have been employed by the Mafia a few years back.

Which is what happens to everyone sadly - you head to towards the train station and back onto to the main ring road. Rather than the straight line route. Easier to police on the main road and helps take a bit longer too

Currently on a bus being taken completely the wrong way to drag it out. Wouldn’t wanna be on the 5pm bus.

Yeah I read that they did this to Swansea and Arsenal and took them a route that took about 1 hr 30.

 

Swansea fans missed the first 20 minutes.

Everyone’s being told different things, but we’re on the escort now, been on the bus 45mins. 16km away from the stadium and still another 50mins drive to go (there’s been an accident)

In fairness, if you have ever driven in Naples it's quite believable.

 

We had a hire car and it takes some getting used to when at a roundabout, it's the people already on the roundabout that give way, not the people waiting to get on.

 

I'd like to say we got used to it as the journey went on....we didn't....and we lost our deposit on the car too.....
