Interested to see if European countries/leagues have the same issues in the coming weeks. There’s been a couple of games in Italy get called off but that’s about it.

If they continue uninterrupted, it suggests that the behaviour and procedures set up by the English teams is useless

Loads of stuff on Christmas parties and gatherings to come, I reckon.

Sounds like a mantra worth repeating by those unvaccinated currently lying in an ICU with a tube stuck down their wind pipe.

Also the virus is unethical and it doesn’t care

It includes cross-border workers, yes.

The point I'm trying to make is, regarding Unabomber's original post that I quoted, twofold:

Given that the 'vaccine' doesn't provide immunity, and given that there is plenty of clinical evidence emerging that it causes damage to the endothelial lining of the circulatory system, allows T-cell penetration of the cardiac muscle, has links to thrombosis/myocarditis/pericarditis and so on (https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/circ.144.suppl_1.10712)...

Given those two points and the fact that there has never been a successful clinical trial of mRNA vaccine technology despite a good decade of research, we absolutely should not mandate vaccination for footballers, or anyone.

In conclusion, the mRNA vacs numerically increase (but not statistically tested) the markers IL-16, Fas, and HGF, all markers previously described by others for denoting inflammation on the endothelium and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle, in a consecutive series of a single clinic patient population receiving mRNA vaccines without a control group.

Btw, are you a scientist ?  what are the consequence/risks of T cell infiltration of the cardiac muscle?

You seem to have Cherry-picked a study that doesn’t really provide the strongest evidence for what you’re trying to prove. This is just an abstract, a seemingly anecdotal report by one person, not a peer-reviewed study with actual data presented.

My first thought upon reading that abstract would be, wouldn’t one expect to see an increase  in immune/inflammatory mediators after a vaccine? - that’s what a vaccine is supposed to do in order to work, elicit an immune response. So I’d question whether they’d looked for the same responses with other vaccines.

if you follow one of the the links attached to that abstract, where there have been some peer review, you will see that there is a warning, and the lack of statistical evidence is highlighted, along with  the lack of evidence versus other vaccines and control subjects:

Soon after publication of the above abstract in Circulation, it was brought to the American Heart Association Committee on Scientific Sessions Program’s attention that there are potential errors in the abstract. Specifically, there are several typographical errors, there is no data in the abstract regarding myocardial T-cell infiltration, there are no statistical analyses for significance provided, and the author is not clear that only anecdotal data was used.

We are publishing this Expression of Concern until a suitable correction is published to indicate that the abstract in its current version may not be reliable.

Anyway, don't want to bang on about science in a football thread- but I do believe I am qualified to comment on unreliable assertions, as I am a scientist!

Annoyed about the Norvich game being postponed, was looking forward to a 3pm Saturday kick off. Looks like a future midweek trawl up to Leicester now 🙁

Thanks for engaging with the argument - and yes, certainly not the place for it but I allow myself an occasional 'bite' against my better judgment.

I'd love to explore further, as the way to allay concerns is definitely through reason rather than the current fashion for labelling any dissenters idiots or conspiracy theorists.

One thing is for sure - I'm far more likely to go down clutching my chest watching our Frankenstein back line defend a corner after an indulgent Christmas...

A complete pain. Was one of the boys Christmas presents and the rescheduled game is very likely going to be on a school night. Booked for the Watford game now. Looking forward to that being cancelled too.

Friends of mine with friends of friends who have friends at my friends club are suggesting this game will be cancelled.

They’ve just been knocked out the Fa cup- so i don’t know if that helps with when it’ll be scheduled in?

That’s the weekend we play Brentford.

First opportunity to play a rearranged game is 19th/20th April unless we get knocked by Rennes, then it’s 5th/6th April
