A badly run club is one that tries to do multiple deals or needs multiple deals to go through on the final day. Pearson use to say it. Every.single.season. You do it early and on in the last week, you only act if a really good deal comes available.

this isn’t necessarily true.

there’s no point getting players in if they don’t deem them to be better than what we already have. If someone then becomes available last couple of days who is within our budget and is an upgrade then absolutely we should go for it?

why would they suddenly become available last couple of days? Well, quite frankly, they may have been holding out for  a better move. That’s more common than we realize.. also, the selling club may have been trying to get someone in before letting them go- few clubs want holes in their squad.

there’s so many variables that go into  acquiring players and we are not an attractive option for some players right now..

No good signing a striker if we don’t create chances for them.

Whilst you're right, you need a striker that's going to aid in chance creation or put them away when they're made. We have Ayew and Daka who do very little of either

But multiple transfer windows where business NEEDS to be done on the last is an example of a badly run club. For a reason you’ve given (we are not an attractive option) but for other reasons too. We are club desperate (and I truly that is the right word) in multiple positions. Left back, right back and striker. It’s a good to have, it’s a must. It was a must last season in January and the summer.

We are working under such constraints and poor planning that we are getting stumped with the panic buy - Edouard, Skipp for the price we paid, Carranza etc. we are not going for the one who improves the side or good value. We are ending up with the over priced, panic buy, no one wants. And while we might get the odd late deal like Bilal one panic/poor buy a window cripples us further.

We are not working under “normal” circumstances

This ones got legs.

Yeah it’s about as close as we’ve come to signing someone.

Piroe has been out of the Leeds side as a regular since at least the start of November. We’ve needed a striker since June. Any “exploring” should’ve happened in December. The reality is, we are fed this rubbish every single window.

Anyone remember Tanner’s tweet on deadline day in the summer “the club are trying for more” post signing James and Ramsey. Who were they trying for ? When ? Where are they now ?

He hasn't started in the league since August, and not played more than 20 minutes in a match since.

Not sure which stats you're looking at but he's played more than 2 mins in a match since Aug.

He's has lots of sub appearances, granted it's not a lot of mins each time, but it's more than 2!

Looking at some of the signings Championship clubs are making this last week i'm not so sure that's true. We just don't do things efficiently.

Earthy, Cashin, Hoever all should have been realistic loan targets for us.

We should have also been all over the  Harry Amass deal

Blackburn Rovers are not much of a better prospect than us, if you want to compare owners then the Venky's make Top look like some sort of footballing pioneer.

Instead we gave a trial to a bloke who was in a near fatal car crash a year ago.

If that doesn’t scream Top and Rudkins Leicester City in now what does.

Not sure on the validity of the source but nice to have a new name to get excited about to only get disappointed when he joins a rival

Ripping it up this season, don't see where we'd get the money from for him. Would cost at least £6m +

So naturally Rudkin will carry on faxing them.
