A word of warning to anyone thinking of going ....

 

This is not going to be a nice/jovial atmosphere.  There is likely to be a lot of offensive/bad language, and possibly some trouble.

 

If you are of a nervous and/or sensitive disposition, I would recommend you give this one a miss.

 

I would also ask anyone who intends to by a ticket, and just sit there in silence ... to perhaps let someone else have your ticket, on this one occasion, pretty please .   Yeah, I appreciate you have every right, blah blah blah.   But just this once can we fill it with boys and girls, who will be loud and proud.    This is about local pride, not the normal jolly Premier League.

That's a decent point really, considering it's the first big derby we've had with them in nearly seven years... things are may to get a little nasty. I think this maybe 12pm kick off on a Sunday, to try and avoid less risk of trouble.

Just hope ur not to noisy and sit down to watch the match and don’t block my view whilst I’m sitting down eating my pack lunch. I’m gonna go for it big time this game and take a clapper with me from a previous home game

Few laughs at this but it's true. We've been in our Disneyland, clapper, Ed Sheeran tribute act bubble for a little while and there's not been any edge to games for a good few years. 

 

It's hardly going to be West Ham Millwall but I think it'll remind a few that the happy clapper "matchday experience" that we get served up every fortnight is an extremely sanitised version of the game we fell in love with.
