The only 100% effective way of protecting Fofana is never to play him again. Any comeback carries risk.

 

It’s amazing that we’re still continuing the trend of one back and then one or two more out. When will it stop!!??

*Everyone.  It's different enough from previous versions to bypass such built up resistances to the initial strain and Delta.  The booster shot was intended to target the first strain of Omicron, but this second strain is different enough to cause further problems...

The booster was just targeting the original virus. . It was useless for omicron too.

Not quite true. But the percentage of those I know jabbed to the max that got covid multiple times is for sure higher than those without jabs.

WRONG.  The main (second) booster (third jab) was intended to directly prevent the most serious side effects of the Omicron variant - (e.g. death), and it did it's job.  (First jab - original strain, second - Delta, third (booster) - Omicron.)

If it's due to French rules it's the rule makers in France that have made them unavailable. 

If these players have been refused entry due to their vaccination status then they only have themselves to blame. No one else. They knew what was required, their choice and now our team suffers. Unforgivable.

Correct... it was the original vaccine so it didn't prevent omicron... but it did reduce the severity.  They managed to use up the stocks... and prevent severe cases.  But the booster did not target omicron.
