I've been a Leicester fan since 1962 and I thoroughly enjoyed the epic battles with Forest through the years. I very much would enjoy beating them twice  a season until the inevitable relegation kicks in !! I like my enemies up close & personal !! That's where the enjoyment comes in.

Youre kinda forcing the rivalry if you actively want them to come up. This whole we play them for a trophy twice a season and become as tinpot as them is such an odd mentality. Let them rot.

Considering we are similar sized clubs (much to thier disgust) we haven't really played them that much in my near 50 year lifetime. Maybe 26 times. They've prob won 20 of those 26 'battles'.., drawn 4 and I can only recall 3 wins

 

It becomes wearisome.

Rivalry is about local clubs, not clubs from 100 miles away,  for example, this spurs thing is a forced rivalry, it's made up, they don't give a shit if they win or lose to us, and where's this trophy thing come from?

Sighs. We got Bournemouth up for nothing.

 

Forest will win. They always blow situations like yesterday and it never came.

 

It'll give us something to look for on fixture day but I cannot actively wish any success on that club.

What spurs thing? You read this forum too much lol , it's not a rivalry at all it just seems a club that is genuinely disliked by most people on here, same with villa.

I don't think Brendan really gets it. Sure, he can go on about how it's such an important fixture. But his obsession with possession and controlling the game doesn't really mesh with local derbies.

You need something to give you confidence though and our record against the red filth regardless of the fortunes of the clubs at the time makes for seriously depressing reading.  If they come up they will almost certainly beat us at their decrepit hole of a ground. It's just what happens.
