What about on the plane / boarding? Any fussiness over masks?

Glad you made it safe anyway pal.

You DO need the masks for the plane but no where else.... Once in Rome only on public transport.

Just for info the Airlines are very STICT on it you need a FFP2 or they will not let you on the flight

We flew to Rome Ciampino today with that normal blue mask no problem.

Is two jabs classed as vaccinated these days

Not classed as ‘fully’.

I think the rule across the eu is if your last (second) jab was in the past 270 days then that’s considered ok

Literally had to stop reading the thread because I want to sarcastically reply to pretty much every post.

This is a walk in the park logistically compared to Napoli and Warsaw.

Exactly,  absolutely simple as. Blue masks are fine,  no one will check covid status and it's an easy City to operate in. People are acting is if it's a trip across Antarctica. Everyone chill, it's easy.

No need for snarly comments lads. I'm sure there have been times in everyone's lives when they have asked for help or advice.

This is What Veuling Says

Face masks

We would like to remind you that all passengers over 6 years of age must still wear a face mask covering the nose and mouth, and only the following face masks are allowed: surgical and FFP2 without valve.* Please note that customers who do not wear a face mask may be denied boarding.

If there are passengers who do not have to wear them for medical reasons, they must present a negative PCR test carried out within 48 hours prior to departure, as well as a document proving the exemption.

In flights from/to Austria or Italy, only FFP2 masks without valve will be allowed.

In compliance with the government guidelines, customers with COVID-19 symptoms must not come to the airport.

But I'm flying From Paris and the French can be Just French

We arrived in Rome this afternoon.... There were NO Covid checks of any sort at Ciampino  airport.

They only looked at our passports NOTHING else.

When i went to Naples away, the only checks were on the return flight back from Rome, they wanted to see everything at the boarding desk!
