What's the Spurs game got to do with it FFS?

Why wait till after that? :nono:

3 hrs 11 mins. That's the one I've booked. Also worth noting, if you miss it you can get on anything up to 4 hrs after the departure of the train you missed.

Is that a general rule in Italy or for that specific train?

Have a look at the actual Italian train website that you are booking for and it explains in very good English so not confusing or anything what the different ticket categories are and book with them it really is easy, don't use trainline or anything like that here in the UK to book. So you have a basic ticket that you can't change or anything a bit like Easyjet/Ryanair plane tickets and then you will have for a small extra charge, I think you pay an extra €3, a ticket certainly with the Italo train company who run the bullet trains a ticket you can change within 3 minutes of departure of the train for either an earlier one or later one depending on what you need.

Seems to be a general rule. I booked through Trainline and emailed to ask as I realised I'd probably booked a train that was going to be difficult to make. They quoted this 4 hour rule from Trenitalia.

My hotel is 40 minute walk from the ground so I've thought about walking?

Haven't decided yet tbf.

Is it really that bad?

Never mind because we'll be probably forced on buses anyway.

A) depends on the result

b) depends if there has been any aggro during the day

c) depends if it’s peeing it down
d) depends if you’re an attractive buxom blonde

e) ………………

It could all be scaremongering, but I have read earlier posts on this thread about Ultras looking for small numbers of opposition fans post match.

I'd take advice from @SeaninRome .

IMO Roma away will be fine. I usually gauge away matches in Europe with how they acted at our place. Rennes over here fine, away also fine. PSV few bits and pieces here, the same over there. Roma here pretty much fine, all will be good over there.

Will be a great trip for us all, enjoy the moment

Finally sorted out my flight. Female travelling on my own so a little bit out of my comfort zone. Flying from Gatwick with Wizzair on Wednesday 11.30am & fly back Friday morning 8.20am (that is going to kill me). Anyone else on these flights? And for those staying Wednesday night, where will everyone be drinking

Hi Mich, I'm also female travelling on my own so if you fancy meeting up somewhere for drinks let me know 👍

Rennes did smash a pub up with a load of Leicester fans the night before the game and a couple of horrible incidents as well.

Roma were pretty moody in Leicester on Thursday walking around with faces covered etc (police following them around).

Daft question (again) if getting a taxi from near the termini to the ground and wan5 to be at the ground couple of hours before kick off what time would you suggest getting the taxi from hotel

From the hotel and to be sure to get a taxi and there on time probably 6pm.

Keep in mind most likely there will be an alcohol ban in and around the stadium.

Sean,

is walking to the stadium an absolute no no?

I would like to say it’s ok but I’d hate if something to happen over my bad advice.

I’ve walked 30+ times and only ever has a small problem once.

65,000 fans will welcome you and just like most clubs it’s the handful that ruin it for others. If you want to chance the walk perhaps wear a buy and wear a Roma top and just pretend you are a Roma fan

Think they have already confirmed beer will be available in the away end

Wonder when the vouchers will be sent? A bit of a pain if they don’t arrive before people fly out. All the hassle of trying to get them printed off by the hotel etc?

Be good if they went out today or tomorrow

There is always beer mate but not always alcohol! I’ve had plenty of sober nights there 😂

I’ll try find out this tomorrow and update all.

Today they will also announce the new COVID regulations so hopefully no need for COVID/NHS pass. This will save everyone a lot of stress, money on tests returning home and atleast 30/40 minutes entering the stadium!
