I have always been very pro union FS you can check my post history if you can be arsed but some things have been really irritating me and some of the blokes I go with lately.

 

- one minute you are singing "through the good time and the bad, we'll always back the lads" The next minute they are singing "we're fuching shit" And hurling abuse at the players when they come over at the end. They do this without a hint of irony. 

 

- the rudkin out/sack the board stuff is totally and utterly toothless and is going to achieve absolutely naff all. All it does is add to the toxic feeling in the ground and divide the fan base see last night for an example, which by the way wasn't just one bloke lots of older blokes around me shouting at them getting fed up with it. All this is making the ground a dream to visit for away teams. 

 

- the rudkin out/sack the board stuff seems to be very results dependant you don't here a peep when we are on a How strong can the feeling be if it's pacified by a scrappy 2-1 win at home to stoke? Comes across as whiny and reactionary rather than a genuine movement to inact change.

It really doesn't, because i can still hear it from SK2. There's less joining in from the rest of the area but the rudkin out chants from the core set of fans are not result dependant.

All I know is that a proper interview with the owner which lays out a plan for the future and answers some historical question’s would go a long way to sorting all this out.

Last night was the clearest example of who is in ufs. Look at the seats that left.

I really think people think it is an 800 seat strong group.

 

To the poster saying UFS singing ‘we’re f’ing shit’. 100% has not happened from them.

But yes you are correct it has been sung in that wider section. UFS have as much control as anyone else on what comes out of someone elses mouth, bugger all.

What’s making the ground a dream for away teams to visit is the squad the management/hierachy have served up on the pitch and the atmosphere that the majority of the ground provide. If we’re being honest the passive and tepid section of our fanbase are becoming just as much of a problem as Top and Rudkin themselves, they deserve each other.

Not having a go but I'm surprised that UFS members are seemingly surprised that regular fans don't realise that the standing section isn't full of UFS members. It feels like the whole corner is designed to look like it's UFS's corner so surely you can understand why fans think that any noise coming from that corner is coming from UFS members.

 

I don't particularly see the need to brand yourself as being part of a group that has a name and structure. I've said on here before that I don't think it really adds much outside of the Tifos. The whole 'ultra' scene has never been my cup of tea but I don't want to judge other people's tastes. My take on it would be that if you're in the singing section, just get on with it and sing.

 

It feels like there's a divide between UFS members and regular supporters in the singing/standing section and it isn't contributing to a good atmosphere.

But, ultimately, I think atmosphere is 95% dependant on what is happening on the pitch.

It's difficult to get fans to get on board with a really good, meaningful protest when King Power has spent 4/5 years generating a complete feeling of apathy within the fanbase.

 

It was a slow death but one that fans could see coming. I think that's made our downfall happen infront of our eyes so there's no real shock or surprise.

Obviously there have been some really toxic days at the King Power (3-0 down at half time against Wolves and Sheffield United spring to mind) but on the whole going 1-0 down just brings about Sack the board drones without real meaning or venom. It's going to take this getting a lot worse before it's consistently toxic against the board.

The 'section' isnt all UFS to be fair. People may join in but they're not minions.

 

And if anyone goes on about negativity in the ground they may as well include themselves in it if they're abusing different parts of the fanbase.

I stand adjacently to UFS in SK1 and haven’t once heard them sing about us being shit. It’s just the basic songbook, Rudkin out and a few new ones that no one else knows the words to (😆). And, I must add, when the rest of SK1 start a song en masse (rare but it happens) UFS stop what they’re singing and join in, every single time. People just want to vilify them for some reason and it’s getting boring.

First of you need to be factual.. in your long post above you have got a few things incorrect. I literally stand just behind them and never have I heard them lead the chants “we’re f shit”.  
granted sack the board however.. 

 

If you want to make a point of the Rudkin out chants, which a lot of the time comes from groups in the middle then what do you suggest? I’ll await on an answer. Seems to be too many people suggesting what not to do but clearly coming up with no other options.. So if you can’t be vocal then how else do you make your point known? Majority of the kp are silent, that’ll really show them.. 
 

The club is rinsing members for match day prices and people are paying top dollar to see a team who don’t care. So when they come over at the end, are you one of the ones who claps their efforts? They need to know if they ain’t playing for the shirt and their £60,000 a week they aint good enough.. honestly Sheffield Wednesday fans ain’t taking it, reading, Celtic of all teams, Luton will get antsy soon so why should we just lay down and accept being a yo-yo club fighting for relegation two years running..
