UNION FS tifo support

If you spoke to 100 Wednesday fans about Chansiri or 100 Blackpool fans about the oystons they they would all say the same thing ask 100 city fans about king power and you would get 100 different view points on them. Our situation is complicated. Even The most rabbid anti ownership fan would still have to admit they have been by far the greatest owners in the clubs history. And the least negative fans towards the ownership would have to conceded that it has turned into a complete shit show in recent times. 

 

I am not here to argue individual points or stick up for the owners I am just pointing out that this is a polarizing issue amongst fans and angry old boys having a go at Union FS is a product of that. 

People who keep moaning about this seat business is a real weak argument against a fan group who only try to do what’s best for the club. Imagine old lads (it’s been mentioned many times before about the ageism argument but seen as you’ve referenced it I’ll also say it) anyways imagine angry old boys as you say being so hung up and miserable because a group moved into their block probably 13 years ago in the hope to improve the atmosphere and make a change.. around the title win there probably wasn’t many complaints then was there? Or were the old guys a bit younger then? 
 

the kp is a bowl. It don’t matter where you sit or stand, you would pretty much get the same view. And if you don’t like the atmosphere then change blocks. It ain’t rocket science people. If you refuse then sorry that’s on you. You must lead a real miserable life if you leave the house with gritted teeth every match day knowing you don’t want to be in the section for various reasons.. As with the tifo business again,  pathetic moan at a group who spends hours upon hours sorting this out, probably costs them out their own pockets to make it slightly more enjoyable. Some of the tifos over the years have been on European standard levels. Not something draped down, but actually hours of work walking along the kop putting it all on individual seats in the hope to include others. But the appreciation from some people ****s me off because for a minute they might miss wout faes walking out the tunnel. However they would be the first to question section only tifos?? There is simply no winning for them.. 

 

Some of the comments I’ve read on social media are vile, accusing this group of all sorts, I’m glad I ain’t got Facebook to read other comments but some moron the other day accused them of violence against kids.

 

Something has to change because the club is in free fall. We can often say about KPFC but one thing I’ve noticed is they can give it but they ain’t got the ability to debate it out. I want to know from various people their views on how King power will change things, are they worth backing because for the last 3 years and probably more, I just can’t see he has enough interest to care. Please can someone tell me how he does, that’s why there is a divide between fans..

Mad that 18 months on we're still having the same arguments. Still having people say stick with Top because randomly he'll start making good decisions, still having to point out that Vichai and Top are two different owners and shouldn't be combined.

 

I'm fully prepared to still be here in another 18 months, either in League 1 or fighting off relegation in the Championship still, with the same fans making the same arguments.

 

Some of the arguments for KP, Top and Rudkin are mind boggling, I feel like I come from a different planet.

You’re splitting the fanbase by throwing about terms like that, you come over as believing you care more about the club than the ‘happy clappers’.

Most of those ‘Happy Clappers’ have been following the club home and away for decades.

 

We all want the best for the club but by calling for KP to leave you’re going to get a reaction from the many who just want them to improve. 
 

What makes you think Rudkin will go but Top will remain and step up? Why hasn't it happened already?

 

We have been in decline on and off the pitch for nearly five years. This isn't short term.

 

I genuinely believe if sweeping changes were made and good additions to the club arrived then a chance would be given but nothing strikes me as to it occurring.

Personally I don't see him and KP changing diddly squat.

 

If that's because he can't or because he doesn't see the need to, the result is still the same, we continue on this current trajectory.

 

IMO I think it's a combination of both points above or things would have started to change already 

 

Change has to happen  but the division is there because people's ideas differ on how that change is implemented

 

Top and KP selling up and buggering off.

Top and KP tearing up their current playbook, (because its obviously not worked), admitting they have got loads wrong, take ownership and accountability,  analysing what went wrong, plan to put things right, implement the required changes from the planning, review changes for effectiveness, adjust as required.

Basic  PDCA . Something any half decent company should do.   The end result is things improve, we move forward as a club both at board and pitch and fan level.

 

Now we need to ask the question what's more likely to happen, if its try to improve and put things right, why haven't they started in the past 6 year or so......

I have this same issue. A lot of people thinking "King Power" are the owners and always have been.

 

Vichai was very much a hands on, i'm in charge, lead by example, father figure type. The players loved and respected him.

 

Aiyawatt could not be further from that. They're two completely different businessmen. I get the feeling that a lot of people at the club undermine Aiyawatt because he's a bit of a pushover and he's too uninterested to care about it.

If they were the only 2 viewpoints it wouldn't be so bad as both are at least recognising the need for change. However we seem to have a significant element in our fan-base who don't even recognise that there's an underlying problem at the club because in their eyes we've always been a yo-yo club and that's the way it will always be. They are of course ignoring the plethora of underlying issues, mostly self-inflicted by the current owners, that have contributed to our rapid downfall and will continue to do so without major change.

Any chance it is because what they are being messaged is unwarranted abuse and harassment? That seems more likely. The aggression within the fan base seems to always stem from the cult, not those who are calling for accountability and change.

 

If I had to wager, I’d say that UFS members harassed by the type of people like the guy who attacked them in the stands the other day. And the messages you are referencing are in reply.

Proves what point? So what if they have sent the messages you said. It’s the reason why that is of interest.

 

It’s clear to see where the aggression comes from. It’s by those defending Aiyawatt just as it was the same people attacking those calling for Rodgers head. 
 

What ‘feedback’ do you think they are reacting to? ‘Oh, UFS, your drum is too loud’? 

 

No, they will be getting harassed by those who sit on their hands and don’t open their mouths to back the team or add to the atmosphere at games and only seem to come to life when it comes to attacking Leicester fans.
