On Thursday the 2nd of June, King Power are putting on a raceday at leicester racecourse with reduced tickets for season ticket holders and members down to just £8 from £22 and U18s go free. 
 

Promo code is Power23

Has anyone managed to get the reduced tickets for this yet? I’ve tried the last couple of days and always get an invalid promo code message.

Had the same issue. 
Add the code on the package option at the top, press on the Thursday race day then press special tickets. 8C2AA101-4847-43E6-B5B2-53247ABB13CC.thumb.png.ad699f849491cd0a612bc2b7bd5dc262.png

I know they openly advertised the code on the scoreboard on Sunday but did anyone else get the email saying it was STH and Members only yesterday? 
 

I haven’t been racing in years paying £15 plus to probably lose money always put me off a bit.

Yes, had the email yesterday. Never been to the races, quite fancy trying it for £8

I just go with a set amount. If I lose it, I lose it. 
 

I really used to enjoy it. It should be a good day.

Good day out for the family this. Loads going on for the little ones by the sounds of it. 

 

Was going to go anyway so will definitely go now. 

 

Rumours that King Power want to buy the racecourse and make it their 'home' for king power racing so it may be a bit of an event to test the water.

Any substance to this? Would absolutely love that to be true.

Have a couple of friends that are well connected in and around a few yards in Newmarket and it was being talked about a lot last summer but haven't heard much since. 

 

Leicester race course is in desperate need of some investment and it ticks a lot of their boxes so wouldn't be surprised  if it happens one day.

Any tipsters on here lads and lasses?  Got £70 that I am prepared to lose over the day and I dont have a clue.

Any tips appreciated and not thought badly of if they dont come in, just there for the day out.

Is this option no longer available?  I couldn’t see a ‘special ticket’ option anywhere ?

My tip would be to get a race card and see if any horses have ran at Leicester before and done ok. The course is such a tough course for horse and jockey. The track is one or the toughest about according to some. 

 

pilot wings in the 2:10 might be worth a EW

Yeah was a great day, really enjoyed it and was a good atmosphere. 

 

Racing has a bad rep at the min for 'lad' culture but glad to see it was a very chilled vibe today.

I’ve seen this in numerous venues, groups of lads coming just to get drunk no interest in the racing.
