Pretty sure he is just saying whenever the fixture is, the authorities will move it to a Monday evening, not the first match of the season. And he is just giving his view, not trying to be in the know.

They'll prob make it a Saturday 12:30. Possibly the best solution. Or a random Sunday 12 but pretty sure they don't exist any more unless there are about 5 games on the Sunday due to EL/ECL participation.
