The Leicester 6

I have just been listening to TalkSport whilst I do my ironing on a Friday night (it’s rock and roll as a father to 2 girls) and they were doing a segment on the best 6-a-side team from your club you could think of.
 

The only rule is that they have to be retired. 

 

It really got me thinking and from my lifetime I think it would be:

 

Banks

??? (Huth)

Garry Parker 

Lloyd Dyer

Izzet

Lineker

 

Really struggling with a good ball playing defender for 6-a-side which is probably telling in itself so will probably fill the gap with an athletic hard man Huth (sadly my favourite player Matt Elliot doesn’t fall into the latter category) unless I am missing someone obvious.

When are we judging the quality? Is it based on their peak at your own club?

 

If so, I'd go for the below for brusing ability but with Esteban adding some class

Any big defender would do but chose Larry May for the Weller corners

Yep in a size a side team. Kante covers ever inch, mahrez skill level off the roof and vardy bags for fun.

 

Think a few people getting carried away with wes and Huth as well. Be better off with little wes or even matty Elliott who could actually play a bit as well.

Yeah I had Cambiasso but thought that we didn’t see his best otherwise we could say Mancini. I thought I recalled Parker being good at this format, god knows from where, Mark Draper was a close one for me also

Slightly off topic but happened to be chattung to Pontus last season and asked him when Martin had told him he'd be doing a man to man on Juninho. He repied,"On the pitch, just before the game". Apparently told him to follow him everywhere and if he went into the toilet at half  time, to follow him in there as well. Man management at it's most genius.
