am i the only one who finds it completely mental that we advertise jobs like the mens under 18s coach… like it’s an admin job. With a deadline and everything 😂

you’d think the club would go out and target someone not hope someone falls in their lap. Utterly insane that’s how we move

Aren’t there guidelines they have to follow to ensure it’s open to all so that every one who meets the jobs criteria is considered/interviewed to ensure no discrimination.

Pretty normal thing to do really, a lot of clubs advertise for jobs on the below website

https://trainingground.guru/submit-a-job

Also allows a chance for someone like an ex-pro, graduates etc. to put themselves forward for a job

Legally required to advertise.

interesting. I guess i assumed we’d just have people in mind. scouting of coaches for a position so integral.

also interesting: @Ric Flair how’s your CV looking?

Khanya Leshabela starting for Crewe under 21s vs Barnsley

Barnsley’s team is largely made up of U18s today, one of the weaker teams they’ve put out recently. You’d like to think he’d at least be above the level of this

Well they bandaged  his knee up first and he tried to run it off .

Jarred the knee in a tackle .

Hopefully it’s not a serious one

I hope we loan out Braybrooke to a good team that’ll play him. I’m unsure how many other u23s are ready for a loan in Jan although some of our current loanees could do with a recall and new loan, Nelson in particular.

Braybrooke

That would probably mean he would get a half hours football the rest of the season. He will almost certainly get his first full start with us very soon. Like Thomas , loaning should not be an option.

The last thing we want is our young players playing regularly, I agree. They'll benefit much more from being turned into robots on the training field while experiencing no proper football minutes.

Personally , I think Sammy's promotion to the PL is coming very soon. If Harvey Elliott can do it , so can he.
