But it has emerged that City were also closing in on another deadline day signing before the plug was pulled on a deal in the final moments. ..not aware where they are playing him!!!

 I  have seen they have played him at times as a wide forward on the right and the left. If it was a 4-3-3 he should be in the midfield 3 as he brings a lot defensively. They should not be using him in an overt attacking sense, that would not make sense.
