The clubs should ban away fans, from both games, till they prove they can behave like responsible adults.

Bang on. Similarly to what ive been saying for years they should ban alcohol, cigarettes and fatty foods in this country until 99% of the UK population can prove they can not be fat, drunk, sweaty, lung cancer ridden stains on the world.

I'd rather vote for Boris !

How do I go about proving that if I'm banned?

One of our "fans" went to jail for assaulting their players, but other than that...

One complete Twat does not warrant an entire game being played with no away fans.

Conveniently forgot that a couple of months later a Notts Forest fan was jailed for... running on the pitch and assaulting a Sheffield United player. No home fans either?

Ban anyone wearing Stone Island from the ground, bars and train.

Not so much that I am assuming potential behaviour, more the associating oneself to the last icon of a 40 year old youth culture, seems so pointless.

Not sure about my stance on Fred Perry, also remains nicely over priced but the fact you can get in online at discount, sort off defeats the purpose.

On a serious note, I remember the introduction of the Hoolivan (yes young uns, it was a real thing) and although it had a limited effect at the time, i am a bit lost to how modern camaras now covering entire cities cant identify offenders to great effect?

I am a bit out of touch but how is it even possible to be a (habitual) football hoologan in modern Britain?

One might just as easily ask 'how is bone-headed ignorance even possible?' - because it clearly still is.

Bone-headed ignorance will always be possible, in my lifetime atleast.

Doing naughty stuff on camera at a Leicester vs Forest game without legal consequence, like Stone Island, I just assumed it would be obsolete by now

EDIT Stone Island comment unrelated fashion statement, not associating designer clothes to thuggery in modern times

Wearing designer clothes doesn't make you a thug.

Quite right...... even when posting silly stuff drunk, I made that pretty clear. I was thinking more about actual designer brands and the ban them was a play on stereotypes

Oh, you were quoting from a later reply to a comment on my original post. Context can be lost during a chain of messages

Our October is an absolute joke.

We had a good August and September but as you say, October has really made up for it. Although we though at least still get 3 Saturday games. I don't mind a Saturday TV kick-off (preferably later one though). 1 out of 6 remaining at Saturday 15:00 is cr4p though.

That kick off time could mean carnage. Did they learn nothing from the events of the cup game

Yeah can't help but think they are likely to see more violence this way.

There is a reason South Yorks police will never do a Friday/Monday Sheffield derby again.

Don't forget October as well, West Ham's Sunday if they beat *checks notes* a team worse than Randers. That leaves Everton away. No doubt that moves too.

So much for the better kick offs eh.

I'm still more annoyed by the pointless Thursday - Sunday combo of Leeds - Wolves than this mind. This was always moving. Be funny hearing any future justifications for early kick offs to avoid trouble after this however.
