To be fair at 32, I'd not be arsed. He'll be on less than £20k a week and I'm convinced we sell Iversen in the next 12 months.

You'd hope so. I still really don't see the purpose in even wasting that money on someone to be honest, nobody will ever convince me that the role is worth what the players get paid. It's essentially someone to be a daddy figure and pick up cones. Birch serves more of a purpose and he's probably on much less.

Was great on my Huddersfield save on football manager 2008 so it's a yes from me

Pretty sure my love of him was born out of playing FM as well haha

It's not a 'good signing' but it's a necessary signing.

I suspect he's coming here to allow more depth thus allowing one of the other keepers, the opportunity to develop through a loan.

We know he won't play, he knows he won't play, but it's one of those things, works for all parties.

Just need Jordan Rhodes and to resign Lee Peltier and we're sorted

Cannot wait to see how they ham up the announcement for this. I’d have more respect for the club if they just didn’t bother and just had him out of focus in the background of a training ground photo.

At least it gives people something else to moan about, rather than the usual suspects

Rodgers

Rudders

Ticket office

Goal music

Clappers

Mobile tickets

Ground food and drink

Hamza salary

Injuries

Lack of statues

Lack of atmosphere

No safe standing

Prices, tickets and drinks food.

Poor loans

Jakupovic played twice for us in five years, I think? I don’t think will get to see much of Smithies lol

Had to double check as I couldn't quite believe it. 4 games, 2 in the FA Cup vs Fleetwood (0-0, 2-0) and then the last two Premier League games of 17/18: Arsenal (3-1) and Spurs (4-5)
