I really hope he isn't. I hope this is just baseless conjecture.

He's been a great owner and, even with the uncertainty around the club, he's a hero and I love having him running the ship.

I will be gutted beyond belief if this is true.

...that doesn't read right, are you referring to Khun Vichai or Khun Top in this instance!!!

I am assuming it is not Khun Vichai, as you can see the obvious flaw in that statement.

You're right, And thanks for pointing it out.

What I was saying was that if Vichai was still here I'm sure he would have put his hand in his own pocket to make up the shortfall.

From what I know of him, That's the kind of man he was.

For Top that's not quite so easy as it's a board of directors with Collective responsibility and decision making.

Different like we'll have 2 years parachute payments?

:appl::scarf: yeah ok, as I say we will see. Let's see what happens after two years parachute payments when we have another idiot in charge and top is too weak to get rid of him...

Our owners have done a great job for us, no doubt, but I do think most of our fans put them on a pedestal. Our owners have great PR. Top’s words in the programmes are not actually written by him. The Charity work they do is very welcome but benefits the club in terms of tax. I’ve heard they are big gamblers and might not exactly be the picture people think they are.

My opinion vs yours I'm afraid. Getting the last word is meaningless I'm afraid. I hope I'm wrong I hope you're right!

3 teams get relegated from the Premier league every year. I can't remember any of them being "destroyed" by it. You're being a drama queen.

I have to agree with you.Relegation would be catastrophic. The team would be Iverson Vardy and 9 A Trialist’s.

The longer you stay in the top flight the more you push yourselves into debt trying to keep up.The likes of Watford Norwich Fulham and Bournemouth never stay up long enough to get into financial trouble. How are Stoke and WBA fairing?

So the clubs going to be wound up next season?

Right oh, make sure you remind me of this next August (assuming this forum still exists too).

I was just about to comment, I had only just read the context and don't agree we will cease to exist lol

Im confident we won't go bust, but itnwould most likely bring in a new period of being a nothing team in div 2 for a good few years.

Top did put his hand in his back pocket in the previous 2 years to help us through Covid. It's in the annual accounts that he made a 30 mill personal donation to the club last year and a 40 mill working capital loan from KP the year before that. He might of already done the same this year but we won't find out until the accounts are released, What the fans don't see is that investment going towards the shiny new toys that we all want but while our wage bill is out of control most of what he's put it is likely to be going towards covering our operating costs.

Nah. I have followed this team in three divisions, and through administration when there was a real risk of disappearing completely. I don't expect that I have seen my last Leicester City relegation or promotion.

I don't even mind a relegation scrap. What I do mind is a team without spirit or direction. Even in that long winless run before the Great Escape we were playing with some mental toughness. Rogers team has a fragility at the back that I cannot stand.

These are good players and we should stay up, but I hope that Rogers is sacked before we are too far adrift. Top must understand that a relegated team ain't worth much.

It's becoming the most plausible reason for everything grinding to a halt this summer.

More plausible than the fact we’ve been racking up debt quicker than Katie Price has boob jobs since covid and infrastructure projects?
