If we can get the ol Cags back than I can see a dream center back pairing between them two. Evans can them get crocked all he wants o wouldn’t care.

hope we’ve got all kinds of conditions slapped on him. Really don’t want anymore sagas next summer. You just know that cash rich chelsea will come sniffing around again

He will be rodgered and his mind would be messed up.

 

Just like Tielemans - eg. when he was scolded at by Rodgers for wanting to win at the last minute against Spurs and we ended up losing; some fans didn’t buy it at the time but his philosophy of “game management” has killed us and we lose exactly because we have the mindset of a loser rather than always always and I repeat always wanting to win and go for more. By the way, to this day, I still don’t blame Tielemans for trying (although I think he is a bit careless which is a different thing).

This guy has me a bit excited. He defends forward a bit like Fofana. He seems quick (unlike Maguire). He also seems to be good on the ball just like Fofana and with a bit of added flair too. He seems good with headers too and has scored quite a few goals for a defender. Let’s just hope he won’t be mentally stuffed like Rodgers did to Soyuncu and several other players. Should have signed 6 years and avoid mistakes of the past (anyway separate issue).

This is bloody tragic...

Chelsea paid 70 million + for a defender from a team bottom of the league. Is that tragic from their perspective? Reims league position has no bearing on whether Wout will be a successful player or not.
