Am I being too harsh?

Maybe someone else know the number of signing made on the same day that made the squad today / yesterday. Anecdotally, i have heard lots of comentary of other games where work permits have meant new signings haven't gone in straight away.

Wasn't the deal agreed before deadline day, so there was perhaps more time to sort this visa stuff out?

I'm sure there's some legislation that allows them to train without a permit but they can't play.

I wondered this. You either have right to work or you don't. It's probably a bit iffy, but in regard to playing you would have to be registered with the league and therefore require proof of right to work. Running about probably sits in the grey area.

Fulham has THREE deadline day signings on the bench on Saturday. Granted one is British but the other two are Portuguese and Brazilian yet both made the squad despite the Fulham game being 24 hours earlier than our game. You can’t tell me with any real conviction that this is just a coincidence.

It won't be anything like what he's been use to and he took a season to get up to pace at Reims. Not expecting much to start with, just steady and avoid mistakes. He'll grow into it, hopefully.
