Don’t think I’ve ever disliked one of our own players as much as this guy. I can handle crap players playing for us, but when he struts around with his arms in the air after his f*** ups… aren’t enough expletives to express my dislike.

He reacts like this all the time and takes absolutely no accountability. But worst still, is that even his fault if he still gets picked every week? Ruud at least dropped him to begin with, but why would he take any blame now? He will just play again next week.

Yeah - you hear managers increasingly calling out players for poor/negative body language - this guy is toxic and comes in most weeks. JV is limited for sure, but he's a worker and he seems to care/take accountability. You can say that for James Justin too - while they might do our heads in, it's Faes who is personality wise (at least on the pitch) stinking the place out.

 

I used to admire his last ditch tackles - but like the 4th goal - usually they are because he's found himself woefully out of position or made some other error.

He does this every time.  Always happens after he's seen running back towards his goal following the attacking player who was moving far before he even registers that he needs to move himself.

As others have said, I can accept that some of our players do care and are trying but just aren't good enough. This guy doesn't care, isn't trying and isn't good enough. Ruud should have done what Amorim has done with Rashford and just completely banished him. Yes we don't have many options at cb but his attitude is absolutely stinking and not what you need when you're in trouble. If we got offered £5m for him tomorrow I'd be 100% accepting it and getting him out the squad. There are loads of centre backs across europe we could loan in that would at the very least have a better attitude than this nob head!

I glad people are beginning to see what a clown of a defender he really is,that thing he does with his arms really  does annoy me every time,and almost every time he was at fault for the goal. How he gets picked for Belgium is beyond me. Should  be dropped for rest of the season .

Vestergaard was worse than him yesterday, and for the 4th he's won the ball back 2x for it to be given straight back over again. It was a clown show.

 

It's mentality and attitude though, body language and facial expressions give it away. Maybe in a better team he'd look alright as the destroyer CB rushing around and rampaging up if you ignore the brain farts, but we're never going to get to see him in a good & confident team here.

This is a joke about JV right?  I’ve never seen a bigger shirker of a defender. The pair of them are toxic to steal an earlier phrase. Coupled with being a level or two below what they think of themselves. 
nobody else would have given JV that 3 year deal and Faes got lucky we were desperate when Fofana was sold. Neither would be signed by anyone else in this league

Was at fault for probably 3 goals yesterday, and it's usually either him or Justin or both.

 

And I'm glad people have pointed out the bloody arm waving, absolute joker.

 

Why this club hasn't gone out and signed a whole new back line I don't know, even some loans for christ sake.

 

Hope it's worth it as it'll probably cost us about £50m next season, plus a points deduction so another what £80m the season after.

 

It's muppet players like this that have been the nails in our coffin!!!
