Even if 10,000 don’t turn up, which is highly unlikely, it’s not that noticeable when they are scattered about.

Also that is a message of apathy, rather than protest. It’s the same for leaving early.

Go to the match, stay until the end and make your feelings heard.

Spot on. People go on about mass actions as if they're achievable when the reality is a) most don't seem bothered and b) even fewer will actually participate when the going gets tough, no matter what they say on the internet.

The banners against Palace and Forest made a point because everyone could see them, despite the fact it only took willpower from a few people to make and execute them. Be vocal and be visible in whatever you do, because anything else just comes across as apathy.

The club would ban every single person that did this and not bat an eyelid.

Sounds great, would have an excuse not to watch 90 mins of dross every other week.

Just not turning up makes our fans look even shitter than they are actually are.

We should be showing fight and absolute displeasure and making it very felt, not just staying at home and making it look like we don't give a ****.

The whole point should be that we actually care, how is everyone so flaccid?

What are you doing personally for the Chelski game in protest of Rodgers?

Regardless of people not having noticed my absence, I will be maintaining my boycott of the ground until my demands have been met. Nor am I spending anything on merch.

In reality, they will never do what I want them to, which extends to changing who sits on the board and how they engage with supporters, so I doubt I’ll ever be buying a ticket again.

I still maintain boycotts are the only protest worth shit. Just needs enough committed souls and it becomes the most impactful event.

Personally, I find the painted bed sheet completely tin pot as people inevitably focus more of the wonky teeth than the message.

The club only wants fans for their cash. Boycott now.

Get Charles Bronson down the ground if he gets released. A good old rooftop protest works wonders.

OK, to give it the full list

Third place: boycotts

Second place: rooftop protest

First place: everyone goes nude

In general people have been shafted with energy bills, fuel, shopping and COVID.

If people can't be arsed about this then there is little hope of any banners or getting angry in the stadium .

We'll loose Saturday, a few boos, Brendan will stay.

Rinse and repeat until we end up in the championship

Exactly, if people cannot be arsed doing anything about their quality of life being ripped apart, what they gonna do about their football team being a bit rubbish?

The same thing, get into a spitting rage in front of their friends to prove how hard they are but have 'other more enjoyable commitments mate not wasting my time on it mate clubs done shambles mate honestly shambles' when the time comes for action

I have a (pretty vocal) 11 year old who is a LCFC nut who adores everything about football. We both stood and booed loudly at the Palace game (the one where Top shook his head).  Not going isn't an option, as i don't want to miss this precious time we have together, regardless how sh1te the football is. Before i know it, he will be 15 and probably won't want to come out of his room, or my wife will divorce me and i will only see him the weekends when we have away games that we cant get to.

I would sooner go to this and show full support and try and get a result. I would rather, all things considered, we stayed up and won games. If we perform badly I prefer a huge boo and Rodgers out chant. Its the last bit in know many won't do. When we joined in the 'Rodgers out' chant many around us looked a dismayed. However, it did get covered on 606.

The media have eye on Rodgers right now and its not all roses for him. His credentials as a top coach are being questioned. A defeat and a very disgruntled ground at the end of the game will get media coverage.

I'm not a boo'er myself as I find this disrespectful to the players and its difficult for people to understand what they are booing for. But each to their own.

Totally understand that, everyone has different situations and reasons for going/not going.

This will be the first game I've actively missed in the Rodgers era.

Let's hope so the guy is the ultimate Teflon manager and needs to be gone.

Did you chip in to raise money for the airplane banner to be flown over the stadium back in October?

Not many did.

Blood on your hands then

At least you’ll have YouTube to show your kids how good we used to be and you’ll be able to tell them you were part of the blue disabled brigade who clapped our way into administration (potentially)

You honestly believe anything you do makes a difference? Banners, planes, wetting yourself at full time? The game has long changed where such direct action made any difference. It may hurt, but the sooner you take it on the chin, the happier you will be. Sorry.  :kissing:

If I believed that then I’d be in even more despair at the situation.

Unfortunately because people are either too wet, or share your belief, we’ll never know.

In that case, you certainly should cling to this belief and do all you can to seek to bring it to fruition, but neither should you automatically assume others share the belief or that failure to react as you react is apathy. If you illicit change via your views I would thank you for it in slack jawed awe, but the cynic within me refuses to accept its possibility.
