After reading this thread there should be at least 50 protest banners on Saturday?

I’ll believe it when I see it. Modern life seems to be people happy tapping away angrily at a keyboard but completely incapable of actually doing anything in real life.

There's only one group of people with the gumption to actually do any banners and I think even that's very unlikely for the foreseeable.

I can’t make it Saturday but am making a pillowcase size one for the old man to take.

Silly thread at best, at worst it’s damaging.

Still awaiting your reply on what you would do, guessing the answer is a fat nothing.

If people can't be arsed about this then there is little hope of any banners or getting angry in the stadium .

We'll loose Saturday, a few boos, Brendan will stay.

Rinse and repeat until we end up in the championship

Nail on the head, it's just football, there's more to worry about than overpaid bellends and a bag of wind

Maybe 49, already done mine at the Palace game and as have said previously got some serious abuse,I will consider whether to do it again or just voice my displeasure after the inevitable defeat.

Here's a plan.

Accept rodgers going no where.

Consider most if not all the players 'are' actually trying.

Realise we are in a relegation scrap and best thing we can do is get behind the team regardless.

Sing shout scream and make our place as hard a place to come to as possible over the remaining games.

Crazy talk I know.

No not crazy talk, common sense stuff really, however the performance on the pitch wont change till the man at the helm changes his approach

Talk about it on here all you want. Fact of the matter is more than half of our fans couldn't care less who's in charge or if we win or lose. There was less than half the crowd on Saturday who even joined in with the "we want rodgers out" chants. The people on the right side of me stood there as if it was a sponsored 90 minute silence. This is why our fans will never put any pressure on the board etc at games. Don't believe that the opinion on this forum is the majority of match going fans opinions.

But is it?

People aren’t necessarily worried, but they’re frustrated, they go to the football to put their worries aside for a couple of hours every other week, however they’re turning up an being bored out their ****ing minds.

Luckily I’m past this point and can just laugh at it all now, laugh at being masters of our own downfall, the calamities and **** up, it seems many are only just catching up with the frustrated part.

Yeah, I love my football, home and away 95% of games but I certainly have more pressing things to worry about than some old crusty lips who can't manage 11 blokes

Banners are so dull. Walk out send more of message. Like walking out on the 15th minute sends more of a message with the club playing infront of half a stadium sends a message. Plus avoid buying food and drink in the stadium, top will get the message. If having a pint or pie do so in the local boozer. Don't give it to club atm.

Banners just get took away from fans.

If we do go down, this is exactly what will happen. It’s like many almost expect it ffs!

Getting abused for protesting like this shows the problem. Most of our fans will accept relegation with nothing more than a whimper and/or keyboard pounding.

Protesting doesn’t mean we will stay up just like not protesting doesn’t mean we will go down. I don’t know why people have this idea that if we don’t protest we are accepting relegation.

Oldham fans have been protesting for years and are now in non league. Didn’t help them much did it. Blackpool fans used to protest and ended up relegated.

If i was a footballer and fans started protesting, i'd think "fvck u you lot, i'm gonna rinse this club for as much as i can get, for as little effort as possible".

If only people got as angry about being bent over and laughed at by this government for 13 years as they did Rodgers losing a few football matches.

They’ll do something about it come election time (I pray to God). Displeasure had been voiced in many other ways only over the last few months.. what with strikes etc.

And ultimately at the ballot box….

What can we do as football fans?

Either moan about it on forums like FT or stop attending games, or by actual protest.

It might not make any difference whatsoever but at least it will be doing ‘something’, rather than nothing.

But I suspect that 95% of posters on FT are probably in the ‘moan about it on FT’ camp. Such is modern day social media.

It’s what the protesting is about, the more that voice their displeasure at the manager the better chance we have of retaining our PL status which is critical for our long term.
You have a lot to say about what shouldn’t be done but very little about what should.

Shows more about you than the fans possibly?
