RVN not bothering to come over.

Meanwhile the fans clapped off the players.

What an utter shit show all round !

Truly pathetic if that’s the case, how any one can clap that off needs to look at themselves! The clubs dead and deserves to rot

The weirdos clapping that are fans that want to prove they're bigger fans by clapping, when in fact they're a massive part of the problem. They're also the sort to say "2-0 at Man City isn't a bad result"

It’s that Cliff Ginetta snobbery with some of them, they think the club values them, they would clap them off if they lost 7-0. They always have that little glance at others before clapping to ensure people see them. Attention seeking gimps.

Not according to the e-mail I got yesterday

Hi Foxes Fan,

Don't miss out on the chance to take in some Premier League football under the lights this coming Monday, as City take on Newcastle United at King Power Stadium on Monday 7 April (8pm kick-off).

Experience the unique and authentic atmosphere that Premier League football under the lights at King Power Stadium can provide, as Ruud van Nistelrooy's side return to action on Filbert Way.

With tickets remaining on general sale, be there and back the Foxes in person as they take on this year’s Carabao Cup winners in LE2!

Selling the chance to “take in some Premier League football” tells you everything you need to know about who they want in that ‘stadium bowl’.

A group of probably 75 or more in ‘Calgary Blizzard’ gear in the second tier. Asked stewards to get those in front of them to sit down.

Yes, really.

Monday's game/atmosphere is going to be a cess pit isn't it.

Will be extremely tame as usual I fear.

They're enablers as far as I'm concerned. All to score a few points online.

Yep. Huge group of tourists. Cheering the city goals as well half of them. Club will ban you for passing your ST to a family member and avoid putting ticket on general sale but happy to accommodate a massive group of tourists sat in the away end 👍🏻

Bloody hell that’s so depressing.
Also very reckless, and potentially dangerous.

Very much like those fans who insist on filming throwing themselves at other fans and knocking people out of the way when we score. (A rare thing now) All to put on Social Media

Yes, really.

A recent social media post has some interview with the 'Denver Foxes'.

It's so clearly who they want because they have to pay for a membership and a ticket at a premium.

I was scoffed at years back when I pointed to the Americanization of football. Toldja it was happening.

With reference to the tourists. This would require a formal complaint. No way that 75 tourists have accrued enough points to get an away ticket, surely.

The club are absolutely hot on ticketing etc so surely fans groups should be using that against them in this instance.

Pretty sure most of us were saying that more than a decade a go.

The problem we have is we took all the worst part of american culture, if you have attended an MLS game you'd realise its not like going to watch an NFL game.

I'd be quite happy to have legal pyro, terraces, cheap tickets, cheap beer in the stands, ultras allowed to sell tickets to like minded fans, close ties with owners of the club...all available at MLS clubs.

Not tourists, the club has a partnership with Calgary Blizzard. We send coaches over to run a football camp in Calgary every summer and invited some of their team over for a game, they've come over for games multiple times in the past

In fact the partnership was how we scouted our former youth GK Chituru Odunze who now plays for Charlotte FC

What a scummy response.

I wasn't defending their behaviour just to be clear, was trying to say it's a club-driven initiative to accomodate them, and with the club's active disinterest in the actual match-going fans, that I don't think that raising a formal complaint would get anywhere because their "commercial interests" take priority.

I can remember the Calgary group being there on at least two occasions before the pandemic at away games too - Old Trafford was one and I think Anfield another.
