I would suspect the latter, struggling to find attendees that aren't in the standing section and therefore won't give favourable responses comrade!

yeah totally. They've probably drained the swamps of the KP army and now need some others to say that anything that isn't Marketing agency led is shite.

In other news I was chatting to another club this week, their FAB has 11 fans and 2 club staff (one director)....

A bit of a side not but has anyone else noticed that the seats at the KP seem to have faded quite a bit? They're not that deeper blue they were in the past.

I remember this happening at Sunderland when they got relegated, where the seats would be on TV they were painted fresh red then all the seats out of camera shot were really faded and it made it really noticeable.

The KP looks like Cov's ground now with it's Sky blue seats, pretty embarrassing.

It's a simple and cheap fix if they could be arsed.

Also, its v annoying that they have let the seating row lettering wear away in various places, hence its constantly 'You're in my seat, 'This is R, you want T,' etc, for the first ten minutes of every game. It would take two days to do over the summer, but nope, nothing. Not a big thing on anyone's radar, obviously, but a sign of disinterest in the basics IMO.

It's been an issue for a full decade at this point - I remember having a conversation about how we could use the title money to finally replace the seats, and apart from a few small patches which stick out like a sore thumb we're still waiting.

The roof notable leaks in a number of areas too. Tbf 25 years is about right before you need to invest something towards the existing structure.

Yikes, wasn't aware of that. I guess we can add a rotting stadium to the list of things that make us a pound shop Man United under King Power.

They did them shortly after we won the league, not exactly sure of when it was though.

A friend from Scandinavia flew in for the Birmingham game. His biggest compliment was that he left feeling strongly it’s a big shame the singing section is off camera. Fans with their shirt off, banners, spinning flags and scarves picked up by TV would make his experience of being a Leicester City TV fan much better.

Another reason that the expansion never happening will be a shame, would have swapped the TV gantry round iirc and the corner section would have been visible.

I registered on 18 aug.  No response yet.

I just had an email about registering for this! That would suggest they have had a very limited and low response and /or they realise it's full of unsavoury types whose input they would want to limit.

Apparently everyone that registered can come. It wasn't a ballot and this was "clearly stated" during the sign up process. I guess everyone just missinterpreted it.

How did you find it?

It was interesting. For me a "sizing up" exercise as a first timer.   I thought you guys and the trust guy put yourselves across well but i can see what you are up against when the "hosts" dont really know the criteria they are setting for you.  I sensed you have to keep a lid on your frustration at times.  Also surprised at the lack of numbers given everyone has an opinion (whatever that may be).

It reminded me a bit of workplace meetings where you are made to feel you have a say and that ideas will be put to management, but you dont actually believe it til you see it.

Id go again though.

Really good summary and, in some ways, reassuring for people to see and acknowledge what UFS and the Trust are up against at times.

17 attendees in total there last night and the club use these sessions to funnel in what they want to for discussion at the higher levels of the Fan Engagement Framework. The Trust achieve a survey with 3,214 responses and that doesn’t seem to hold the same weight…

You could blame the fan base for not going to these things and having their say, but I suspect many have lost faith in the impact of these sessions or that the Club will do anything based on what is said. This would be backed up from the Trust end of season survey finding that only 4% of fans agree the Club takes action on issues raised in the Fan Engagement Framework.

Plenty of things very clearly raised and agreed on in the room last night. The test will now be what we see change off the back of the session…

UFS held themselves very well last night, particularly Chris who was very articulate and IMO raised the bar for UFS amongst the rest of us. . I am not their  biggest fan because of the negativity  at matches but we managed to have a good debate from all angles without throwing punches haha. And totally understand that the negativity is coming from other areas too. Completely feel the ruling on tifos having to go through so many hoops to be ‘signed’ off is ludicrous and I hope this gets sorted. Push for a  video to be displayed at the ground showing the work carried out on making these displays. It would be good for everyone to see and again help towards a less disjointed fan base.

Very satisfying job for someone. Wouldn't fancy doing it 32,261 times mind.

For the bit in bold is that for the club or UFS? Just wondering what you mean by negativity if it's about UFS?

The negative chants and booing etc but like Chris pointed out it’s also a lot of fans outside of their fan base. I understand the whys and that it comes from passion but find it hard to take when we should be backing the lads on the pitch during play. It was good to have an open debate and appreciate we have different opinions.

From what I was told by those that were there, it was quite an eye opening moment for a lot in the room when it was made clear that in fact not all 1300 people in the SK1/G1 standing block are members of UFS.

I suppose it's whether you support the 11 lads playing or the club as a whole.

I understand the need to support those playing (and I think UFS/the singing section does this better than any other section of the ground by about 100 fold) but there's a clear requirement for the club to sort out what is happening in the boardroom. Decisions are consistently wrong and they're harming the future of the football club. I don't think a supporter of LCFC should sit in silence while this is happening.
